Don Gorvett has lived and worked on Cape Ann, seacoast New Hampshire, and Maine since 1968's and divide his time between Ogunquit Me and Portsmouth, NH.
Mr. Gorvett is a graduate of the School of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, and a past board member of the Boston Printmakers. His works are in the collections of the Addison Gallery of American Art, Boston Athenaeum, the Museum of Fine Art in Boston, the Cape Ann Museum, the Currier Museum of Art, the Farnsworth Art Museum, The Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge, England, the Ogunquit Museum of American Art, Peabody Essex Museum, the Portland Museum of Art, the Worcester Art Museum, and numerous corporate and private collections.
Presently the artist maintains Piscataqua Fine Art Gallery & Studio in downtown Portsmouth, NH and seasonally Perkins Cove Gallery in Perkins Cove, Ogunquit ME.
