This review goes back a few years and working with Ms. Gabriel at the time. Exceptional support regarding a gathering which encompass folks from around the world. Allowed a small room to be used for a few hours of rehearsal. Rooms were ready and group rates were on point without any hiccups. Plenty of parking, adjacent to airport as for other staff members of this hotel accommodate guests. Overall, it was a painless experience and continue to be most pleased with selecting this hotel for our affair. Hats off to a great crew!
The room itself was great! The bathroom is needed a bit of an updating. The tub was showing some rust. The pool was closed, which was odd! I little bit of rain pretty much closed the entire city down. Heaven forbid y'all get a hurricane. All in all it was a great stay.Rooms: 4/5
Rooms are nice -- great air conditioners -- clean + quiet. Service not exceptional -- no cookie, breakfast, or coffee after 11 and no ½+½ only artery clogging Coffee Mate Staff very pleasant, though and convenient location. Lots of parking. Will be back! Rooms: 4/5
Good choice if you’re looking to not stay on the strip. Free shuttle from the airport. Uber to the strip and to your destinations. Beds are comfortable. Really nice pillows. Good prices for breakfast and decent selection. Overall, a good choice!
I tend to check in via the app to avoid in person mostly safety reasons. I had to request my water and fresh cookie, so I went to desk. Glad to see there was water in the room already and the cookie—as always, fresh and warm. Front desk clerk was friendly. Elevator ha a broken button and it smelled musky. My room was spacious and clean. Pillows fantastic. Bathroom was good size but a bit outdated; shower floor seemed to have dirt stain so I showered with a towel over it. My disappointment was the breakfast that I usually get free at other Doubletrees wasn’t that here. Maybe because it’s Vegas. I still had my Diamond food credit perks but did not use it for breakfast—mostly for evening snacks. They do have a bar. There really isn’t anything walking distance where one can eat, other than the big chain near the hotel. If you’re looking for a nightlife near here, know the strip is about a 5-10 minute drive. The gym is clean, although a couple of treadmills are missing the QuickStart button. Small and quiet gym room. Didn’t use pool—not the season.
Diamond member and have stayed here quite a bit and now that we're well beyond the effects of the lockdown late 2022, the place seems to continue downhill. Accommodations are decent and no real complaints. Location is decent, but the noise level of the street traffic is horrible. Bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. Skipping the breakfast all together as that is not even worth the $$$. I'm from a cold weather state and want to enjoy the sun while I can but the pool was closed and the house keeper manager aka Karen kicked me out even though I only wanted to enjoy the sun. No other place to do that unless you want the parking lot. No reason given for the closure HKM actually said "I don't have to tell you". The elevator was making a very loud rubbing noise so I asked when the last time maintenance and inspections were done and there was no manager on duty 11 AM, so no answer. Opted for the stairs but an employee has to let you through housekeeping quarters for access! Don't get me wrong, 95% of employees are wonderful. Best thing here is the cookies and Table 34 restaurant!
If you need a bed and aren’t picky or sleep like a rock, it’s probably ok. Pretty standard 2 or 3 star hotel. It’s very close to the airport which is a plus…like 5 minutes. But now for the negatives. The bed was basically a hammock it was so soft; my back hurts because of it. Lots of traffic noise being next to the highway plus loud drag racing all night outside the window in the otherwise deserted business area. The windows did little to block noise. Left at 5:30am to catch a flight and no breakfast yet. Overall, meh.
This Hilton feels a little aged and it's due for some TLC from management. I had to change room within the 1st 20 minutes of my stay due to the super loud AC unit and my toilet flushing when another toilet flushed nearby. The 2nd room they provided me didn't have the toilet issue but the AC unit was loud as well and I guess it's a problem in a number of rooms and i had to endure it by shutting down AC a few hours at a time while I slept. My stay was for a few days and while my room was always well kept, they twice forgot to refill my coffee/tea basket. The coffee ain't great as well but at least it helped me get started in the morning. Beyond these 2 criticisms it was an OK stay but I'd probably book elsewhere due to too much room in the room due to the bulky AC units.
The cookies were great but the service from the airport shuttle driver was not only unsafe, it was simply awful. The driver went 29-30 miles over the speed limit to the airport. Corporate never called me to rectify the issue despite me calling twice. The drivers name was either Ken or Kan. Beware of him. He put the hotels customers at risk plus he was nasty and rude! The hotel and company lacks integrity. Don't patronize
Reasonably priced with airport shuttle. Clean , & employees were very friendly. This a a good option if you don’t want a hotel on the strip, but still can get shuttle to strip, only 5-6 minutes ride.
