The Hilton in Jefferson City is truly the best place to sleep and eat and relax. The staff is so friendly and at the ready to help and assist with smiles and great attitudes. The Sapphire restaurant is definitely the brightest "Jewel" of the Hotel, the views are amazing of our State Capital. The Sapphire was so clean, the staff was on point in all aspects of our restaurant experience. Sarah the Chef should be recognized for her leadership, quality of food, my steak was so tender, it sliced so well with a butter knife the selection of food on the Menu is well thought out and cooked to perfection. Brunch/Breakfast was so tasty, fresh ingredients, and a real pleasure to experience. Rooms: Room 1008 was super clean, well stocked with all our needs, great view and the beds are so comfortable. Safety: The staff takes Safety seriously and seem to be always aware of what's going on. Food & drinks: Amazing food in both quality and taste!!! Sarah the Chef deserves 5 stars for the way she runs her staff, the cleanliness of the kitchen and dining area were impressive and the ambience of the Sapphire was so enjoyable.
Hands down one of the best hotels I've been to. Will stay here everytime I'm visiting the area from now on! The staff was very nice & accommodating. Check in was super simple & quick. The rooms were clean & comfy. Parking lot was a little small & I didn't see a parking garage for it but I had no problem parking nor did others during my stay. There were even empty spots still at 8pm. Parking lot is one way in, one way out so keep this in mind when planning your stay. This is one of the quietest stays I've had and I'm very pleased with everything. Be sure to check out the Sapphire Lounge on the Penthouse floor. The view is incredible & breakfast was delicious!! They have $8 mimosas
First I'll say the staff were very friendly and pleasant. But the rooms are old and feel unclean. There's no continental breakfast and the breakfast buffet was expensive. Nice fitness center and pool, but jacuzzi wasn't working. Location is good.Rooms: 2/5
This is a conveniently located hotel, near the Capital. Parking is a premium, you may have to park on the street if you show up later in the day. The gym is older, the machines, Elliptical, leg machines and Chest press are noising, look like they haven’t been serviced in a while. I requested service for my room 3 times over a week, and it was never serviced. Luckily I had enough towels for the duration of my trip. The breakfast is a little high for the food served. I ordered a Bloody Mary, and 20 minutes later they return to tell me they don’t have the mix. All the while they haven’t taken my food order. The views from the12th floor restaurant are great. They do offer lunch and dinner in the same restaurant although I didn’t try those. Not a bad hotel but it definitely has room to improve.
We stayed here with our young children. The pool was very nice and the room was fine. The location was convenient. It would have been great, except for one thing. The breakfast was terrible. My omelet tasted like old dish water, and when I wouldn’t eat it the server asked about it. She took it back in the kitchen with my complaint and I could hear the kitchen staff complaining about me. It was very upsetting. The kitchen manager was even disciplining the waiter and host in front of us over moving the tables out of place. It was a very unprofessional and terrible experience. Also, we had a food and beverage credit for being Hilton Honors, and they charged us full price anyway. I left a voicemail to get it fixed and haven't heard anything from them. Unbelievable that we paid $60 for such an awful breakfast. Nearby activities: The prison tour was very interesting! Walkability: We walked to the ice cream shop. The rest of the places we drove, but easily could have walked without young kids. Food & drinks: Don’t go to the breakfast!
I hate posting negative reviews. 1. Our hotel had TWO fire alarms go off at 0700 the first morning, and 0645 the second morning. 2. There is no coffee, breakfast, nada. 3. Our room had no cold water, only hot... hence we had to brush our teeth with bottled water which we had to purchase at a gas station. 4. I'm Diamond and when checking in, it was made very clear that they were completely out of bottled water. 5. There were several unsecured rooms vacant but doors wide open on floor 8, hence we felt very unsafe. This is not our first rodeo at this property. The first time was mediocre, but this time it was deplorable. As well, "Sapphires Restaurant" is a dump, it smelled of ammonia, and was stocked like an Army outpost. We will never be back. Lastly, the owners have stripped the Diamond Parking spots of "Reserved for Diamond Members" and have made them their own, the front desk told me we needed to move, and we did not. Noteworthy details: The only redeeming quality is that the police station is across the street.
Enjoyed my stay at the double tree. Excpecially the indoor pool and that hot tub! Bring your bathing suit! The hot tub is amazing for those muscle aches! Breakfast was very good but not free. It's up in the penthouse. Expect to spend about $35.00 for two people on breakfast. I do not recommend letting them put it on your hotel bill as I got charged twice. Pay it after you eat .
Only stayed one night, but really enjoyed my stay. Older hotel, but kept updated and clean! Restaurant/bar upstairs is really nice with a nice view! Staff was friendly, room was clean and quiet. Free secured parking provided.
