Everything was as expected - the views, the food, the service - not bad at all - calm environment - we only came for dinner on a weekday - perfect pace for us as we travel and work remote and love to eat out. Certainly worth a stop if you're in Jefferson City!
Nice place with a great view to the city downtown. Though we went for dinner so not much to see in the dark but it would be a great view for sunrise and sunsets as suggested by the staff. Since they also server breakfast so one might as well stop by for the view. The staff was polite and kind.. when we visited there wasn't any crowd but the food still took a while to be served. But it was worth the wait and was delicious. They do not have a very extensive menu but the dishes taste well. They also have chef's specials on the menu varying each day so you might want to check in on that.
Stayed at the Doubletree while biking the Katy Trail. I was tired and didn’t feel like walking to a restaurant, so I took an elevator ride to Sapphires. I ordered the artichoke and spinach dip plus a Cesar salad with chicken. The dip had obviously been reheated from frozen — it was very watery, but it tasted okay. The tortilla chips served with the dip were fresh and crisp. The “Cesar” salad was disappointing. The chicken was cooked well with a bit of a char — delicious! But the salad itself was an iceberg lettuce mix red cabbage and carrots instead of Romain lettuce. The crouton to lettuce ratio favored the croutons — so many croutons! The bill came to $27 for the food: $11 for the dip overpriced, $12 for the crouton, er, I mean “Cesar” salad overpriced, and $4 for the chicken. The chicken was the highlight of the meal. On the bright side, I had a great server, the restaurant was clean, and the view of Jefferson City was great.
Couldn’t tell you anything about the food. Was seated for 15 minutes, and the waitress came and asked if we were ready to order. We didn’t have menus, so she went and got menus, and after waiting another 45 minutes and she never came back, we got up and left! That’s an hour of my life I’ll never get back, but will never waste another minute at that place!
Only good part about this place was our waitress and the view. I ordered a burger they gave me chicken. Then they tried to gaslight me by saying it was supposed to be chicken. It’s literally called a burger. There’s a sapphires chicken sandwich which I guess is where the confusion came from. Also, ordered a drink, never got it….it was on the bill.
Great location and great view! The wait staff were not attentive and we had to go grab them anytime we needed something. But they were very friendly!Food: 5/5
Extremely, I mean extremely slow. Food was mediocre. The small wine list has some bottles ie. LaCrema Chardonnay where the bottle price listed is for a 1/2 bottle not a full bottle. This is not clear on the menu. The server was nice but also seemed to struggle. The hotel has terrible parking.
The Cajun pasta was outstanding. The bartender made a couple of different cocktails off repertoire. Vegetarian options: There are a few different vegetarian options. There's a beyond meat burger and a couple of pasta options.
This place is terrible. Don't work here, don't eat here, don't sleep here. The owner and the managers are terrible greedy people that make the employees miserable and customers unhappy. I've never seen a place so terribly run.Food: 2/5
I would give ten stars if I could. The food is amazing, the staff are very friendly. The air is perfect. The view is stunning. I highly recommend this restaurant and hotel for any reason or occasion!Food: 5/5
