Absolutely best Family Style Fried Chicken and Catfish I’ve had in years.  Since I last went here.  Best friendly service and at home seating you could ever ask for.  This is what a perfect restaurant tastes like.  It is a life changing experience.

Good portions, affordable prices, and a pleasant atmosphere, the employees are great and overall it's an enjoyable experience. They go the extra mile to deliver the "Family Restaurant," which as a father, means a lot. The menu has a little of everything so it's great for my kids picky tastebuds.

Understaffed, inadequate restroom 1 unisex for occupancy, half of our party was charged for food not received one table did not receive fish. Instant mashed potatoes, some drinks ordered never received. No alternative prep available, all meats breaded and fried except ham which was excessively salty. Will not recommend or return. 15 members of much larger family.  Dietary restrictions: No alternative prep for someone that cannot eat grain, salt or sugars carbs.

Best meeting, eating, greeting place hands down All the food selections are excellent The family owned business tries really hard to make every experience a good one...... Can't say that about most places............

Homestyle food at a good price. Eating at Nick's isn't just going out to eat.  This is like a visit to grandmas house.  You know homemade supper at 5 pm type of cooking. And it's about ready when you get there. A Jefferson City heirloom.  The best fried chicken, possibly anywhere.  Mashed potatoes that are just right.  Take the family out for something special, and take them to Nick's.

Scot has the BEST chicken in the country.  Pan fried like grandma did it.  No exaggeration.Food: 5/5
