Dovenstar was founded in 1996 when I took my first Reiki class, a day that changed my life forever! Since that time I've developed http://Usui-reiki.org to share my passion for teaching and performing Usui Reiki which I learned from Arjava Petter in Germany (reikidharma.org) and Jikiden Reiki in Nova Scotia Canada, which I learned from it's founder, Tadao Yamaguchi (http://www.jikidenreiki.co.uk/). Along my path of teaching and performing Reiki I developed deep intuitive skills including Mediumship, which are always gentle and helpful, guided by the power behind Reiki, which is the Source of All, which I call God. I provide generalized intuitive reading/sessions, however when I feel someone's grief, my gifts shine their very brightest! I love working with everyone, for any reason, and I'm particularly drawn to working with families of suicides and hospice patients and families. I've been deeply honored each time a client or student says, "Starr, this has changed my life, thank you!" I always give credit to God, who guides my every session, my every class. Another focus of my site is to help interest people in silent meditation, where we can sit and commune with our inner healer and the Source of All.
