Our new 6 month old puppy Rico had fun playing chase with other dogs and cooling off in the stream. Very muddy. Friendly dog owners, many families with children. Appreciated the hose in parking lot and water books too!
Best dog park Brodie and I have ever been to. There were many dogs, and all were friendly and playing nicely. My only suggestion is that the front fences/gates have lower wire so dogs can’t get under and away.
Such a great little park off Lloyd in Downingtown! Very clean and has nice little picnic areas. We love bringing our daughter to the swings and playground. At the far end is a dog park that is always popping!
Lackluster park. Small playground and some swings. Pavilion to eat in. The whole place had a depressing vibe. Also was some creepy guy roaming around with a metal detector. The creek was nice that’s why this ended up with 3 stars.
Lloyd park is one of many parks in Downingtown, there are many activities to do but some are unique to Lloyd so this is why I give it four stars. One, Lloyd Park id a great place to have fun with friends and family. The sand pit is great although I'm not sure when it was last changed. The playground is great and on that playground they have a spider dome and there are plenty of other fun things to do! Second, the opportunities. Having a picnic, they have tables just for that, just watch out for dogs. That brings me to my next opportunity. The dog park! The dog park has people and dogs of all ages running around together and it's so fun! And best if all if you take your dog to at Lloyd Park they'll be tired, so tired that they will just go to sleep as soon as they get home due to fatigue. Lastly, the creek. Since Lloyd park is next to Beaver Creek, they share the creek. So every day you will see someone fishing or walking around in the water to cool off. And every year on April 1st they fill the water with fish for a fishing competition! I really love Lloyd Park and I personally think it's really fun to go to.
Only off leash dog park in the area...stream to swim for dogs ... tree planting taking place to shore up erosion around deep jump/swim pond area for the nutty dogs. Love it but not everyone watches dog as they should use caution with small dogs/ children. Playground: Nice playground as well as fenced sand volleyball area. Restrooms: Indoor facilities Dog-friendliness: Huge natural Off leash dog park...but as previously mentioned use caution withsmall dogs and children. Picnic area: 2 gazebos ... mud wasp nests in roof tho Random picnic tables 3 or 4.
Such a pitty that this dog park was my favorite place to go with my lax gentle great dane. Unfortunately the increase of owners lacking dog park etiquette has ruined the experience. I've seen dogs been chased in a pursuit of dominance, pack fights, owners release dogs in parking lot unleashed. My dog and I were chased by a unleashed dog in the parking lot, after yelling to the owner please get your dog! There's cars pulling in and out.. I will not be going to this park anymore do to avoidable situations that owners lack just plan matters for others.
Best dog park in the county. Very rare to run into an agressive dog / negligent owner. Lots of room to roam; acres of open fields, wooded path along the creek, and several spots for dogs and people to wade into the water. Not fully fenced, so dogs must be trusted off leash to fully enjoy.
A very nice park with a dog park connected with a gazebo for use as a pavilion and there are actually two volleyball courts with sand inside of a fenced area and then there is a picnic area near the creek and then there are children's swing sets and playground and a bathroom
Best doggo park around. Swimmin’ holes and trails make dis a doggie paradise. Gets a little swampy tho sometimes
