It's been four years since we last visited Downtown Disney. It's a fun area to hang out with the family. We did an 1 hr 15 minutes of bowling at Splitsville Luxury Lanes and we had a lot of fun. They charge $25 dollars a person. Their drinks and food was really good compared to other bowling places. There is a waiting period to get your bowling lanes so we went shopping around to kill time. Grabbed some Starbucks drinks and all was good. The only downside is that there were a lot of people. A bit overcrowded. Oh! Don't forget to validate your parking ticket. If you spend $20 dollars you get 3 free hours of parking or just eat at one of their restaurants validate it and you get 5 hours free parking. Enjoy!
After you've explored the park, take a pleasant walk to enjoy some tasty, high-quality food or pick up a couple of meaningful souvenirs. Plus, you can catch the fireworks from a unique perspective right here!
Great place for dining, shopping, and exploring! Easy to access as you can literally enter through Disneyland Hotel or the Esplanade. You will have to enter security lines prior, but all vast members are patient and polite through the process. Several shops like Home, Lego Store, Star Wars, World of Disney, Disney Dress Shop, Pandora, and so many more. Food options include several sit down locations like the Jazz Cafe, Splitsville, and Black Tap- all of which are priced fairly well and can seat a lot of people. Be sure to check out the new Disney 100 medallions and enjoy all of the sights as you stroll through Downtown Disney!
The world of Disney is huge so if you're looking for something that you may have missed in the park you might be able to find it here. They have a lovely array of different items from throughout the park and just inside of the store itself. Then there are other shopping opportunities and eateries throughout the whole district it is also connected to the Grand California hotel so if you'd like to go in there and look around or you have reservations to eat it is a good place to go and look around before you go to the hotel.
Super impressed with the atmosphere here-especially when entering through the Downtown Disney parking lot. It costs $10/hour to park. First 15 min are free probably because it's a bit of a walk to actually get to the shopping area. If you make a purchase, be sure to get your parking ticket validated before returning to the parking ticket pay machine to get $10 off. There was a cute area for crafts with Mickey Ear music notes too!
Loved visiting Downtown Disney, haven't been here in years and quite a few changes have happened. Along with part of it under construction I imagine but still great to visit and walk around lots of shops to check out and restaurants to try. Can't wait to visit again, hopefully sooner this time.
Nowhere near as big as Florida’s version, and constantly being changed! That said, it’s still well worth a visit, you can even park close to visit for $10. Black Tap, World of Disney and Earl of Sandwich were our favourites!
What a great way to walk around and visit shops at Downtown Disney. If you happen to still have energy after going to the Disney parks, I would suggest walking these beautiful pathways of shops. They have all kinds of foods, stores, and specialty stores. There are lots of places to take family pictures and very entertaining for all ages.
Lots of Disney 100 decorations! There is some construction happening as of June 22nd, but it's not too bad. Enjoyed all the different Disney stores. Ate at Black Tap, had some ice cream and Salt and Straw. Good selection of shops.
It was a lot of fun, but darn, it was packed with many rides taking an hour or more. Brought back many fond memories from my childhood.
