This company continues to hold intelligent, emmotive orcas captive for profit. The one at their Miami Seaquarium has been there since 1970 -- over 50 years, mostly alone -- after she was brutally captured from her screaming mother in Washington state where organizations have been fighting for decades to get her back. Her mother and family still swim freely in the Puget Sound, but this company won't let her retire to her home waters and family, even after over 50 years of profiting from her. Don't support them. Don't help them profit from indecency. Contact them to retire Lolita to her home and family.
Went to Idlewild on Saturday June 30, 2018. We've been going there for over 50 years, please read and act: SAVE YOUR MONEY & AVOID HEADACHES, DO NOT !! EVER GO TO IDLEWILD. Eva in customer service, tells me that at the gate, they are telling folks about the rides that are closed. A FLAT OUT LIE ! We had 2 cars and neither one was told that most all of the water rides, on a 99 degree day were closed. Oh yea, if you navigate on their web site, it's listed as a obscure after thought, being placed under the tab of " today's attractions".. It should be listed under "detractions". Anyway, never again will we go to this park, they didn't have enough floats for the 1 out of 6 water slides, and rides such as the rollo coaster, which has 2 cars, were only using 1. Wait times were Disney like, in a once beautiful and well run park. This park isn't run anymore, it just exists. Sad it's turned to a 1 of 5 in the rankings, but they still announce that it's the "best kids park in the world". Massive lie !
