Bedside manner is rude, his ability to read MRI not good. I was told I had a fractured tibia and I got a second opinion and I didn't have one. He wanted to send me 2hrs away when I didn't have to. Always seek a second opinion with this Dr.
Doctor Capito might not be a ball of sunshine all the time, but he took very good care of my mother and his office staff is so great
Very disrespectful and rude acted like he didn't care anything about my situation and told me to go somewhere else
My husband doesn’t ever complain about pain but he’s been suffering with his knee for over year now and surviving off of Aleve just to get through each day. He finally broke down because it is affecting his ability to work and went to a doctor and was referred here by Med Express. He was sent for an MRI but Capito did not give my husband the the MRI that was scheduled but told him to go home and take more pain reliever. It is sadly common in the family to need work done on our knees and he’s been dealing with this for too long for this Dr to not even try to see what is going on under the surface which was the entire point of this appointment. This is disgusting and disappointing and only prolonging an issue that in more than a year hasn’t resolved itself and needs further attention. If I could give zero stars I would. This area needs doctors that listen and actually try to help their patients and not just keep them on pain relievers.
First impressions are important! I'm a new patient, new resident in this state and this Dr blew anything positive right out the window! His bedside manner was appalling! No greeting, no eye contact, no questions, no answers, no opinions as an orthopedic surgeon about my issue other than knee replacement isn't an option but he's "not sure"!? I really miss my prior team of doctors!
I get it that he has no beside manner but it is definitely not okay. I basically paid to be mistreated and misdiagnosed.
