In addition to transforming and renewing smiles, he corrects bites and realigns jaw joints, balancing the concepts of esthetic smile reconstruction with functionality.

Born and raised in Fair Oaks, California, Dr. Cantrell is a 1996 graduate of Bella Vista High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine from Pepperdine University in 2000. Dr. Cantrell graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2004. Throughout his education he has been active in helping others, mentoring fellow classmates, involvement in student affairs and participating in research projects comparing the use of dental materials. In 2003, he was the recipient of the Thomas B. Hunt Scholarship Award for academic excellence.
Dr. Cantrell is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Sacramento District Dental Society. In addition, he is a participating member of theAmerican Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Sacramento Valley Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Cantrell, his wife Lacy and their daughter make their home in El Dorado Hills. Dr. Cantrell is an avid golfer and they enjoy snow skiing, mountain biking and traveling with family and friends.
