Everyone was super nice and transparent! I felt no pressure to get something unnecessary done, which can happen often. But lol I did mention that my father was in the industry and that I don't like getting things done unessentially- also adding on what I know needs to be done and doesn't. It seems to be a consistent problem across the industry and those giving one star seem to be those sacrificed to add money to their business. I wanted to give them four, but I took one off because I had been asked twice and reminded twice of them having no time, that I wouldn't be able to get my scheduled cleaning despite that being my reason for booking on top of an examination. I was even called during my working hours even though I perpetually told them not to book during these hours because of work, I wasn't available, requesting me to come in earlier so they could have time for everything. I was not going to suddenly take off hours of my work schedule. Ultimately, this led me to believe they didn't care about my day. After everything, I was able to get the cleaning done. Minus another star, because their X-ray machine seemed very outdated and tedious to use, it honestly put a huge damper on my experience. The nurse had to run back and forth between the switch and comp to see the imaging and take the x-ray screens, causing the process to take longer and discomfort in my mouth... there are plenty of dentist offices that offer a smooth X-ray experience which can clear your worries about consuming high doses of radiation by only needing to take one picture.

I just moved to the Sacramento area and found this place online. I decided to call and make an appointment. I am glad I did. The staff members are very friendly and made me feel comfortable. I then saw Dr Castro who is truly the best dentist I have encountered. I have lived all over the country and this is the best dentist office I have been to so far. Yes, dental prices are expensive so it’s best to go to a place where the staff is knowledgeable and caring of their patients. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a long term dental office.

As someone with extreme dental anxiety, for me to say I actually like a dental office, says a lot. I’ve been coming to Sacramento Dentistry Group for the past few years and Dr. Karavan is hands down the best dentist I’ve ever had. He takes a holistic approach to dental care and thoroughly explains treatment options in a way I’m able to understand and make the best decision for myself. He is also very mindful and understanding of my anxiety and does all he can to make sure I am as comfortable as possible. He brings a very welcoming and safe feeling with him and it eases my anxiety so much to know I’m in the hands of a very skilled and empathetic professional. Office staff are all friendly and helpful and I have not once had a poor experience with any of them. All the hygienists have been wonderful as well, especially Lee. I’m also sensitive to bright white light and always hated the fluorescent lights in dental offices because they used to trigger migraines when I was a kid, but this office has dark features and low warm lighting, which is a huge plus and adds to the warm, welcoming feeling when you’re there. I’ll be very sad once I move and have to find a new dental office because I never thought I’d find a dentist/dental office as wonderful as Dr. Karavan and Sacramento Dentistry Group.

I’ve been a patient with Dr. Castros office for about two years now, and when I first started it was just for cleanings, eventually I decided to truly make my teeth a big focus of mine, and took them up on their Invisalign services! After small dental work, teeth cleanings and Invisalign, my teeth/ smile have never looked better! Dr. Castro is wonderful, she’s patient, pays attention to detail, and makes sure your needs and wants are her main focus and your goals become your reality! She’s is just the sweetest! The staff is always so friendly, remember you by name, and events that take place in your personal life, everyone is so easy going and so personable and over all a clean nice environment! Thank you so much Sacramento Dentistry for making my smile bigger than ever!

I visited this dentist office for an examination and required a root canal treatment. However, after spending a significant amount of money for the treatment, I returned for a cleaning but was informed that the fillings were necessary before the cleaning could be done. This resulted in additional expenses. Eventually, I scheduled a cleaning, but I was unaware that they outsourced most of their higher-level staff. Unfortunately, I arrived 10 minutes late and was informed that I needed to reschedule in six months and pay a penalty fee, which had not been communicated to me previously. In summary, this dental practice appears to prioritize financial gain over customer satisfaction. If you are willing to spend money, you may find it suitable. However, if you are seeking a long-term dentist with honesty and integrity, this may not be the ideal place for you.

I do not recommend this place because they are doing overdiagnosis and trying to charge you more. I treat my decays somewhere else with just 150, while this place offered me a 3k crown treatment as my only choice. Thank god I did not trust them and went somewhere else. I give 2 stars for just the ladies who do check-in and also take X-rays were nice people.

My onlay broke two years after installation. The office has a five-year warranty policy so, I requested a partial refund. Unfortunately, the office manager declined, citing insufficient evidence of the cause. I would have appreciated a stronger commitment to stand behind their work.

Attentive and great customer service! Impressed with my first visit and excited for my future treatments. Dr. Castro was amazing and professional as well as the staff.

Unfortunately I gave this place three chances. It was a red flag when they rushed me to do an abnormal amount of aggressive filling work. I’ve had major issues with the fillings they put in. The main dentist was too busy to do some of the fillings so someone else swapped in without my consent who I was uncomfortable with. My insurance and I were charged a very high amount and I was charged again for a visit to have them fix a filling they had put in. For the two main procedures the insurance coordinator and front desk staff quoted a certain amount and then they charged me double after the first dental procedure, without telling me until right before the second procedure was about to start. I almost gave two stars because I personally like the main dentist, and I think he is knowledgeable. However I would not recommend this place to anyone who values their teeth or money. I went back to my hometown dentist to fix my now painful teeth and misaligned bite.

My dental hygienist was awesome. She was very involved in my dental health. Very thorough, gentle and knowledgeable. I like going to the dentist, go figure??
