Dr. Danielle Forshee is a Doctor of Psychology and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both New Jersey and New York. For more than a decade, she has worked full-time in the fields of clinical psychology and social work while concurrently pursuing her degrees, licenses and certifications.
Dr. Forshee is in solo-practice specializing in high-conflict situations such as those experiencing relationship problems, the treatment of non-suicidal self-injury and anger management. She is a New Jersey Professional Divorce Mediator as well as Collaboratively Trained and provides custody, co-parenting and parenting-time consultations for those involved in either of these processes.
In addition to her practice, Dr. Forshee is affiliated with Rutgers University, is the Clinical Consultant for the Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide and is on the Editorial Board for the American Psychotherapy Association. She is also a Certified Clinical Supervisor and provides private supervision to clinicians for hours toward state licensure.
For over a decade, Dr. Forshee has been providing trainings around the state to various professionals on topics of risk and suicide assessment; managing aggressive behavior; neurobiology of unspoken communication, and various topics pertaining to mental health and communication in relationships. Additionally, Dr. Forshee has been published by the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators and featured on web-talk radio regarding these topics.
Dr. Forshee has been previously affiliated with Hackensack Meridian Health, Robert Wood Johnson University Barnabas Health, Ocean County College, Georgian Court University, North Philadelphia Hospital System, Jersey Shore University Medical Center and the Division of Child Protection and Permanency.

You may switch between any of these options depending on your circumstances, and if determined clinically appropriate by Dr. Forshee.
