Dr. Dexter Sun, as a Board certified neurologist and electromyographer, has been practicing neurology in New York City since 1998. Dr. Sun obtained his fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital at Harvard University after completing his neurology residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Cornell University Medical Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Prior to his M.D, Dr. Sun received his Ph.D. in molecular neurobiology from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1991 and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Rockefeller University. Dr. Sun is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Academy of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He is also listed in the American Registry of Outstanding Professionals and is the Co-Chairman of the National Republican-Medical Advisory as well as a clinical associate professor of Neurology at Cornell Weill Medical College.
