He also has a highly trained Physician Assistant DeLaney Hartman that allows you to be seen day of if needed. Dr. Ensley, Patti, and the girls in the office are such a blessing. I just saw Dr. Ensley today for the first time and am so thankful. The care that was provided by that team was exceptional. I recently had some horrifically disappointing experiences with Axia Women's Health, specifically OB/GYN of Indiana South, so receiving the care that I received from Dr. Ensley was like a breath of fresh air. He actually took the time to talk with me like a real person and did not brush off my concerns. I am going to have a procedure done by him, and I feel 100% better about it since I am under his care. Highly recommend. Thank you so much, Dr. Ensley!
So happy to find this doctor and his staff! After an unpleasant experience at another office I was so thankful to find this practice! The office staff are kind and do their job well. Dr.Ensley and his assistant were wonderful spending time listening to my problems and asking questions to better understand my health and the problems I’m having. Dr.Ensley and his assistant helped me feel comfortable even during the pelvic exam. You will be listened to at this practice! Felt a great burden lift from my heart as I walked out. I finally feel like I’m being taken care of. Thank you!
I’ve recently had a few people ask me for OB recommendations so I thought I’d leave this review. If I could give Dr Ensley & his team a thousand stars I would. I have been seeing them for 2 years now for PCOS management and pregnancy. Ensley was the first doctor I called after a horrible experience with another Dr for my first pregnancy/delivery. Unfortunately my first appointment with him ended up being during a miscarriage but they made me feel so comfortable and truly cared about how I was doing and what my next step was for trying again. 2 years later I am now half way through my healthiest pregnancy so far and I am so happy to have Ensley & his team on my side. I often see Delaney at my appointments and she’s honestly the most caring person I’ve met. Everyone listens to my concerns and addresses them well. My daughter is usually super shy but she loves going to appointments with me and seeing them/getting stickers
I had a great experience with Dr. Ensley and Dulaney. They made my journey of pregnancy easy and enjoyable. Whenever I went in for check ups, they are knowledgeable and always professional. Thanks always for the work you do.
I used to go here for routine check ups etc, Delaney is usually informative and answer questions that you have but every time I leave after seeing Dr. Ensley I have to go on google. He never gave a clear explanation for anything and when I ask questions he would roll his eyes when talking like I’m bothering him then he rushed out of the room. The last time I went I was told the he had to ask someone else about what’s happening on my ultrasound then he had the girl at the front desk call me who had no idea what she was talking about. He also did a pap without letting me know that’s what he’s doing, though I had a recent one done. The last straw was when they said I had to do bloodwork without going through what each is for. I had to ask the phlebotomist who also didn’t know so when I was leaving I asked another lady, HE WAS STANDING RIGHT THERE WHILE SHE STRUGGLED TO EXPLAIN!!! This is unacceptable, I immediately transferred to another practice which is 1000% better. Oh, and when they sent my records, the dates were all wrong for when I had my tests done.
Dr. Ensley and his team are great. He delivered my daughter in 2019 and has been my OB ever since. Delaney and Regan, and all the other staff are super friendly and accepting. Made sure I was comfortable throughout my appointment and took their time to answer all my questions.
Even if my life depended on it, I would not go to see Dr. Ensley for any OB/GYN issues. I was scheduled to see Delaney the PA, but had to reschedule with Dr. Ensley as she was out on a family emergency. I kept my appointment with him because I was desperate and could not see my regular OB/GYN as she was booked out to far. I was roomed by the PA in training and I explained to this woman my issues. She seemed extremely concerned and definitely made me feel heard when I was talking to HER. Before he came in, I heard them outside my exam room and she was trying to explain what was going on and he walked right in as she was mid sentence talking about my issues. He then made me re-explain ALL of my issues that were going on, cutting me off repeatedly to get in a word. He then had the audacity to mansplain to me that my symptoms were due to my "diet" and that birth control would stop my symptoms and uncontrollable bleeding within 3 months of starting birth control and that in 3 months it would be "controlled". He was very pushy about me starting birth control to control my symptoms and did not seem to have any concerns as to why I was experiencing my symptoms or ordering any tests or ultrasounds. I have NEVER, and I mean NEVER felt so patronized and ignored by a medical provider in my life. You hear horror stories of women being ignored by medical providers and then experiencing extreme medical issues because of it, and this man is one of those people that is a part of the problem. Because he was not listening to me and was too busy mansplaining and cutting me off, I had to go to the ER the following day to have my issues actually addressed. Thankfully, the ER treated me and I have a diagnosis for my condition AND it's not being treated by birth control shocker. If you have a vagina, stay AWAY from this practice. I feel bad for any person who is being treated by him. There are plenty of other great OB/GYN practices in Indianapolis.
I first met Dr. Ensley and DeLaney about a year ago and they are the most warm and welcoming group. They care about you as a person and are willing to spend the extra time to make sure you are educated and comfortable. I recommend them to any women looking for exceptional care!
I had Dr. Ensley for a very short period of time as my OBGYN since I moved to Indiana 5 months pregnant. He was able to get my documents transferred from my previous OB very efficiently and always was available to address all of my concerns. After giving birth, his office made sure that I was doing well post-partum, he recommended a wonderful pediatrician to me, and overall has been a great OB. I had an issue with my two insurances debating on who would cover what, and even though it was a hassle, he worked with me and got it taken care of. I would definitely recommend anyone to his practice.
Dr Enseley and Delaney have been taking care of me for 2.5 years now , I’ve had two children in which both were considered high risk pregnancies and both times they’ve always made sure to provide amazing care and support to me . I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my ob and gynecology care and needs than dr enseley and his team ! Thank you so much for all that you do and for truly being great doctors !
