Dr. Gao and her staff are always so friendly and accommodating. Never a long wait and my son actually enjoys going to see the Dr! Dr. Gao is a wonderful and amazing pediatrician. He has been a patient there for 16 years and we will unfortunately have to leave soon. Highly recommended!
Dr Gao is great with our newborn baby girl. She listens to your concerns and outlooks and is not pushy. Highly recommend her. Very sweet too!
I have been using Dr Gao for my 3 children for about 4 years. Dr Gao is very caring and knowledgeable. She has genuine concern for the children. She listens to to me, the mom, completely and asks questions. In the beginning, her staff was not the most professional, but it has gotten better, as well as the wait time. There has been visits where she seems rushed, but her course of treatment is always right on. I highly recommend her. My oldest child is 15 and I have been to a few pediatricians in that time. I truly love her and trust her. I do not trust easily as I work in the medical profession as well, but I completely trust her. Also, she is not pushy with vaccines such as HPV, which is nice.
Dr. Patricia Gao is an absolutely amazing doctor! The level of care my two daughters have received since infancy has been unsurpassed. I moved out of Edison and still travel back to her office for doctor appointments. She gives 100% attention during their annual visits and connects with my daughters on a personal level. She asks about school, diets, friends, activities, she wants to know whats going on in their life and how it impacts their health. When Dr. Gao gives advice, BOTH my daughters listen to her. A parent can't ask for anything better than that. She is a "rock star" of a doctor.
The doctor, unlike a lot of quacks out there, is knowledgeable and generally pleasant if cold. We were generally happy with the level of care our kids received. Her staff just don't care and would rather not admit any patients at all so they could have time and quiet for their own things. This doctor however is a big advocate for vaccinations, was very pushy about vaccinating our son since birth and kept pestering us about it. Yes, kept recommending injecting our baby with aluminum and mercury because the vaccine mafia pays well. I suppose now she's in 7th heaven as Covid-19 vaccination is in the works. She'll be wealthy selling it for the vaccine mafia.
Dr.Gao herself is a great pediatrician. She is very knowledgeable, experienced with kids, and she can treat illness and cares about the well beings of your children. HOWEVER! The wait time in her office is unbearable. 1 hour is minimal even if you get to your appointment on time. A visit is usually 1.5 to 2hrs.
Dr Gao has been my twins Dr since they were a year old. She takes the time with each kid and listens to parents concerns. She is very knowledgeable and has excellent bed side manner. I live her!
I’ve been taking my boys to Dr. Gao now for over 5 years. I’m so glad I found her! I never feel like she’s lecturing me and she always talks to me in a relatable, yet professional, manner. There’s also no confusion on what we discuss and she will verify her opinion. She’s also great with my kids!
Dr. Gao is a very good doctor and has an excellent bedside manner with children. She has been my daughter's pediatrician since she was 18 mos old and she is now a pre-teen. Her staff is also quite nice and helpful. It's a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Dr. Gao does not rush the exam and is receptive to parental concerns and preferences. I highly recommend her.
I have been visiting Dr.Gao office for more than 9 years. Dr.Gao is my kids PCP from the time they were born. She is very knowledgeable and treats the problem well, also explains to us the symptoms and early indications on how to find it next time, if it occurs. Wait time at Doctor's office is terrible, especially when we go for sick visit. I would not reduce the rating for this one factor, as the doctors explanation and treatment out numbers it.
