I am a Board Certified Psychiatrist with more than five years of clinical experience. I bring a holistic approach to psychiatry - treating the illness and other barriers to quality of life. In my practice, I believe in the importance of psychotherapy in addition to medication management for a rapid return of functioning. I also help you strengthen your support system, achieve educational goals, and achieve career goals so you can reach your full potential. I practice evidence-based medicine and use the most current scientific evidence available for medication management and psychotherapy.
My areas of expertise include Depression, Anxiety Disorders (including Panic Disorder, OCD, PTSD, Phobias, and generalized anxiety), Bipolar Disorder. I also specialize in Women's Mental Health, including issues during the perinatal period and postpartum period (including Postpartum Depression), and pre-Surgical evaluations. I treat adolescents, adults and elderly patients.
