Reviews
I have read all of the reviews that are available for Dr Fisher. Before I even went to the surgeon I had a bad taste in my mouth and was afraid of being treated badly due to having state insurance and some of the other bad reviews I had read. I guess I don't know all the circumstances surrounding the bad reviews, but this dentist was absolutely great to me. He was polite, explained exactly what I needed done including under my special circumstances. His staff has been excellent as well. I was originally scheduled 8 weeks out for surgical tooth removal for 3 teeth with the nerve exposed with abcesses. His staff worked extremely hard with my insurance company and within a matter of days they found me an appointment within a week. I understand that people despise the dentist, but Dr fisher is very compassionate, made sure to calm my nerves by automatically offering sedation since I have a severe fear of the dentist. I will update more after the actual surgery. Update: this dentist was amazing! His entire staff was great and worked together to make sure my severe anxiety was calmed to the best of their ability. I felt no pain, to include the technique they used to numb my gums before surgery. I highly recommend this office.
Dr.Fisher and his staff were phenomenal. I had my wisdom teeth removed three days ago. Connie and his wonderful staff made sure I was comfortable from the time I stepped into the office. The wait time is a little lengthy but they made sure it was the best experience provided and that I was comfortable the entire time. She even turned on the radio for me to ease the anxiety. Do not judge by the few negative reviews from the past and see for yourself. Any questions I had they did not hesitate to answer and made sure I was taken care of like family. Definitely worth the wait!
Great experience! I had an abscess and they were very prompt in getting me in asap. Dr Fischer was great at making sure I had as little pain as possible and he worked very quickly. I was given clear instructions for post OP. Dr Fischer is a master of his art. The staff was friendly and treated me like family. Most are veterans and I thank them for the great care. Ive read some other reviews and if you think they are a bad dental office, you've really never been to a bad dental office. Dr Fischer and his staff are amazing.
After reading negative reviews, I was very hesitant about going in for an abscess tooth- but am so glad I did. The entire office staff was very friendly and welcoming. Dr Fisher was extremely kind, knowledgeable, and caring. He gave me clear pain-management instructions to ensure the safety of my pregnancy. When going back in for the extraction, I felt completely comfortable and cared for. He is great at what he does!! Couldn’t recommend this office enough!
I went in this past Tuesday 1/26/21.I went in to have 4 teeth extracted. I am home and it has been 2 days since the extraction. I have taken the medicine they provided for me and only when the aching comes. The pain is very toliberale. It's more of an ache than pain. I honestly was expecting more pain. My face is still swollen a little and a little bruised but for what they did I am satisfied for how the whole procedure went. I want to thank the nurses and Dr. Fisher himself for helping me and taking care of me and I would recommend them anytime.
Edit: I had my surgery yesterday and all 4 wisdom teeth were removed. The wait was a little long, but, they do a morning meeting, and I was the first patient. The surgery went by crazy fast if you do deep sedation. They were so nice, very comforting and to be honest my surgery went faster than they planned and were very nice about refunding me what they didnt use. Today I've not taken any pain killers, if really doesnt hurt! It's more annoying to not beagle to eat what I want and the swelling is annoying but it's not as bad as I expected! They were so amazing at this practice. Thank you guys!!! You all were so nice. Made my nerves ease up and were very kind and understanding. Dr.fisher was great! Impressed with his lovely staff. 4/19/19 ***I was a bit leery with the rating but after my consult with Dr.Fisher and meeting his staff I'm impressed!! My wait was a little long but they were so nice and friendly to me during my visit. I feel comfortable with my upcoming surgery!
My daughter had all 4 Wisdom teeth pulled in February of this year, yes almost 10 months ago. First issue, they couldn't wake her up after the surgery. After a 45 minute delay, I forced my way back. I am the one that got her to wake up a while later. They kept stalling me during the 45 minutes saying it was sometimes normal for there to be a delay. I checked and this is inaccurate. Mind you, this 45 minutes was after the 15 to 20 minutes NORMAL waiting time. Then as I am driving home, she begins throwing up A LOT of blood. Again, I was told this was normal because patients can swallow the blood when they are asleep. Funny, I thought that is why dentists used suction tools, that an assistant uses it as blood is coming out by sectioning it out. They said they did use this. Well if they did, then exactly how much blood did my daughter lose? I took her to her physician and she was Anemic. This means, she lost way to much blood during the surgery. 3 of the 4 sockets became dry sockets, which is extremely painful especially when you are still swollen from the surgery. My daughter followed all of the instruction and she doesn't smoke, which is what is normally the main cause of dry socket. Here we are eight months later and the two bottom sockets are STILL not healed. Her jaw hurts so much she has pain when chewing or moving her jaw too much. She didn't have this prior. Oh, and good luck getting a hold of them. I think 99% of calls goes to Voice-mail and if you are calling due to a problem, you now have a better chance of getting struck by lightning then them actually calling you back. Messing with me, I will deal with it. Mess with my daughter and you are in a whole different category of bad. I wanted to add that after reviewing the comments, it seems like some people's procedures went good and they don't understand why or how these other people describe it as a nightmare. My daughter was given 3 medications to put her to sleep. One includes Propofol. This is the same medication that killed Michael Jackson. This dentist, literally has these people's lives in his hands. Had I not forced my way in to begin talking to my daughter, I truly believe I could have lost her. I am happy for those that had appointments that went well. I am really upset with HOW MANY went Scary wrong. Please keep that in mind as you judge other people who don't agree that their appointment didn't go anything like yours.
Had several extractions and wisdom teeth that had to be surgically removed and Dr. Fisher did an amazing job. The percentage rate of nerve damage for me was high and he managed to avoid it. The staff was great! Took months for me to get in due to the lack of information to the insurance but I would go to him again for any extractions!
My daughter needed a procedure done, and in our local area Dr. Fisher is the only Oral surgeon that takes our insurance. At her consultation Dr. Fisher seemed like a nice man and he seemed to have some nice staff and I specify some staff. The office manager/insurance person is down right rude! Does not want to do anything more than she needs to get by. The insurance needed a narrative and she refused to send it to them cause she didn't think they needed even after I called our insurance and verified what was requested. Thanks to this woman not doing what was asked my daughters insurance denied her procedure. Now my daughter has to wait 2 more months to get a consult with another oral surgeon out of our area. Completely ridiculous!
Absolutely love this place! Dr. Howard Fisher and his crew are outstanding! After my wisdom teeth were pulled out i thought that i was Going to be in excruciating pain as i was Told by people who have gone to their dentist. With my experience with dr Fisher i went Through an amazing recovery. No pain at all. Very great doctor. Really do recommend this oral surgeon :.
