She is not respectful of her patient's time. I've waited 45 minutes for my last two appointments, which I purposely booked first thing in the morning to avoid the wait. She was even late to virtual appointments. In addition, she often seems rushed and uses a condescending tone that lacks empathy, which is really surprising given her specialty.
Made an appointment a month ago, but when we arrived, we were told that the insurance was not accepted even though we see someone else in the same group, and they had all the information ahead ok time. the receptionist was totally indifferent, and did not help solving a problem. Very poor experience would not recommend this office.
My experience with this doctor has been so traumatic it has taken me weeks to write this review. I saw Dr. Cardamone at my gastroenterologist, Dr. Kelly Krueger‘s suggestion. Pain management was a very last resort for me and I went to the appointment reluctantly. I was very vulnerable and brought every test and study I had endured over the last 2 1/2 years of my seeking a diagnosis for my condition. Dr. Cardamone talked at me instead of with me the entire visit. She failed to make eye contact and told me at one point that “this was the way she ran her practice” and “if I didn’t like it I could leave.” She even minimized Covid by saying “we all need to get back out there at some point.” I explained to her how some of her suggestions would not work for me, as I had tried some of them in the past. When I left at checkout, I was forced to make appointments for follow ups that I had already told her I did not want. I was given a strict diet to follow which, had she taking the time to find out, would be more harmful to me than helpful. I had a follow up appointment via telehealth with her today, two minutes into which she hung up on me. I am exasperated, frustrated and dumbfounded that this doctor is even part of the Summit Health practice.
I've been seeing Dr. Cardamone for about a year now, and she has really helped revitalize my back! I'm an avid golfer with two herniated discs in my lower spine, and I've been trying to put off surgery because of the risks. Dr. Cardamone offers conservative treatments such as Ozone therapy, PRP, and A2M injections. I've been regularly doing PT and also seing her for injections and I've been able to continue my golf season without much downtime! Her personality is very upbeat, positive, and kind! She truly cares for her patients well being and will make sure you have a wonderful experience. I highly recommend her and will be a lifelong patient. -Afshin Siadat
I am a chef for over 20 years and have constant knee and back problems. I recently went to Dr. Cardamone for severe knee pain due to standing for 11 hours a day. I have had surgery on my knee before and multiple cortisone injections with minimal relief. Dr. Cardamone provided me with a natural approach by performing prolozone injections which made my knee feel so much better. She has is very patient and takes her time with you unlike other doctors who only spend 5 minutes with you. I would recommend her to anyone who is in pain and has tried traditional treatment.
I had a persistent pain in my shoulder that everyone was convinced was a rotator cuff injury and kept telling me I needed surgery. After a year of accupuncture, massage and chiropractic with only temporary improvement, I was recommended to Dr. Cardamone by my accupuncturist. I have to admit that I was skeptical by her claims that prolozone therapy could help, but thought what the heck. After several treatments, I am almost pain free. I am ready to move on to my neuromas! My sister is so thrilled with my results that she is looking for a similar situation in Utah to deal with her rotator cuff. Having had a very bad experience with rotator cuff surgery, she is willing to try this to avoid another sugery.
I have had major neck problems for over a year and had physical therapy, chiropractic treatments, x-rays and used home remedies. It got so bad that I could not turn my neck to the right without being in severe pain. Losing all hope I decided to take a different approach for treatment and found Dr. Cardamone. When I met with her she took the time to explain my condition and provided me with holistic injections in my neck along with home exercises that I can do. Being a single mother of 2 boys there was no time in my schedule to go to physical therapy a couple days a week. Since my visit I have been pain free! Thank you Dr. Cardamone. You are the wizard to me OZ!
I was referred to this dr by my primary care dr Zablocki and when I arrived at the office at 12:23 I stood in line and was told go next door so I went next door my appt was 12:30 when I told the PSR Juan I was there for appt he asked for my name then said oh you should have come early for paperwork since you didn’t you can’t be seen I have to reschedule. I said I waited outside because of social distancing but I got there before 12:30 he said oh sorry she can’t see you because you have to fill out paperwork. I’m shocked I know patients are given 15 minute grace period I worked at summit so I know this but he said no I couldn’t be seen and the next appt is not until 11/22 or late November!!!! Are you kidding me!!!!! So from this experience I will never want to be seen by this dr office ever. That’s no way to treat someone that used to work there and could fill out paperwork and while waiting because he said she was behind so I had to wait for her???? Poor excuse not to fit a person that has been waiting a long time and the patient is in pain???? I’m so so surprised. Not to mention I brag about summit health and send all my family and friends here. Very disappointed!!!!!! I’m gonna rethink going to this location again!
Dr Cardamone is a knowledgeable Physiatrist that I've had the pleasure of being treated by for two years now. I came to her the first year in great discomfort from over doing with an arthritic shoulder. Two treatments later, I was out of pain. I returned this year for a tuneup and again found even more improvement. I'd recommend the good doctor for anyone requiring relief and improvement with situations of discomfort.
Wish I could have seen her but the 1 hour and 22 minute wait was not worth it. I left. Back story: Her office had called me back & asked me to move my original appointment because she didn’t have any morning appointments on the day I had originally scheduled at her office. So I was already annoyed that I had to move my appointment to a later date. Unacceptable to waste people’s time like that with no explanation. 45 mins? Even an hour wait? Maybe. But over one hour with no apologies? Nope.
