Dr. Ryan is a licensed naturopathic doctor practicing in Halifax and the Bedford area. She is a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and St. Francis Xavier University (BScHons, Neuroscience).
Dr. Ryan is passionate about natural medicine and runs a specialized practice, focused on women's health. This would include hormonal imbalances (including thyroid, adrenals and sex hormones), weight loss, mood disorders (anxiety &depression), gastrointestinal issues, fatigue, insomnia and pre/postnatal care.
Dr. Ryan is dedicating her life’s work to helping people heal by creating an open and non-judgmental space where intensions can be made and plans formulated to assist her patients in becoming the best version of themselves. She believes that when your health is thriving, life simplifies and you become more equipped to contribute, not only to oneself, but to our loved ones and the world around us. Aside from running two practices, Dr. Ryan is also a wonderfully busy mom whose passions include: spending time with her young daughter and husband, pretending to be an amateur chef, staying active, and being outdoors. Like many true “Cape Bretoners”, she is at peace in nature, her happiest surrounded by loved ones and thoroughly enjoys a good tune.
