I’m sure Dr McKee knows what he is doing and is quick. But I have to say he is one of the rudest and most condescending individuals I have ever come across. He walked into the room without so much as an introduction and immediately just stuck needles in my mouth. He was very harsh and kept barking at me that I was breathing through my mouthI was telling him I was in pain which requires breathing through your mouth briefly. And to take anti anxiety meds next time I came. I had no real understanding of what was happening in my procedure and he left the room without a word. Literally the only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the people at the front desk and his assistant actually communicated with me and gave me somewhat of an understanding of what I would be going through. I’m legitimately scared to come back and have my canal finished eventually apparently it was some partial it’s been a week or two I can’t remember. Can’t recommend this guy under any circumstance if you have dental anxiety.
This endodontist, Michael McKee, more like the butcher, was supposed to give me a root canal but instead broke not only my 3 tooth bridge, but a piece of my actual tooth underneath the bridge. The tooth was no longer able to be saved as a result so as a consequence I had to go back to the referring dentist who advised the only option was now to pull the tooth. Butcher McKee was more concerned about being fast and getting in and out than doing a good, safe job and caused me undue emotional distress and countless hours, rather days and weeks, of physical discomfort. Not to mention his mistakes caused me an additional $8,000.00 of out-of-pocket dental costs. Please do yourself a favor and visit an endodontist who cares about his patients’ wellbeing more than his own efficiencies.
WOW … just WOW… I’m one of those that have MAJOR Dental Fear… I tend not to give reviews only because I don’t like criticizing businesses… I just don’t return… ANYWAY… this practice Deserves more than 5 Stars… from the Front Desk… to the Assistant… it was Better than Perfection… Dr McKee is HANDS DOWN… the BEST BEST BEST … my procedure was 100% Painless… Start to Finish… & Quick… I was speechless & would have given him a Bear Hug … he got a Fist Bump… I can’t recommend him enough… All these Gals in the office are as Sweet as Bundt Cake …. Dr McKee Perfection & He’s REALLY nice to “look at”
Excellent Endodontist Service! The staff including Dr. McKee that I have encountered are amazing and so down-to-earth. They make you feel so welcome and are very attentive to your issues and comfort. Dr. McKee is a great Endodontist. I’ve not had any issues with the work he’s done for me! He has a great system going to get you out of pain fast!
Back in May, My 10yo son was referred to an Endodontist for consultation to see if he may need a root canal prior to bonding his teeth after a bike injury. The endodontist we were initially referred to did not have any availability for a month and a half for a simple consult. I called Dr. McKee’s office because I remembered getting dental work from him myself about 2yrs ago. His office was able to get us in immediately. They took an x-ray and Dr. McKee suggested root canal was not needed. Recommended that my son’s dentist proceed with the bonding. We were in and out in no time. Dr. McKee did not even charge for the x-ray/visit. Awesome service. Very appreciative of He and his office staff.
I had an unexpected complication during my root canal at Dr. McKee's office and I couldn't be more pleased with how everything was handled. He and his staff showed a great deal of care and sympathy during my visits and took excellent care of me. His office/records staff are also very warm and great at what they do. I actually felt more at ease with him than my primary dentist. I highly recommend him.
The staff at this office is very kind and warm. They were hospitable to upfront questions about cost and very transparent. The communication in making appointments and confirming them showed great customer service. Dr. McKee is very reassuring. He seems to go out of his way to settle a patient's nerves, while remaining focused on the procedure. Most importantly, the work he did was great. My dental issues have improved because of his work, they healed quickly, and with minimal discomfort. I cannot say enough about this office and recommend them with the utmost confidence.
This turned out to be the worst dental experience I’ve ever had. I was referred to Dr. McKee for a root canal. I scheduled my visit, completed paperwork and received the first part of the service. I was scheduled to come back two weeks after my initial visit. One week after the initial visit, I was contacted and informed that my insurance was not accepted. This wouldn’t have been a problem for me if I was informed by the office staff prior to them filing and making copies of my insurance. When I scheduled my second visit, I informed the scheduler that I will be going out of town for three weeks and asked if there were any openings prior to my date of departure. She scheduled me one week prior to my departure date, but failed to inform me that I would need a crown added by my regular dentist “asap”. I knew that I would need a crown, but I was under the impression that it was included in the service. This left me with four days to come up with $1300-1700 for the additional service. I am giving them one star because their patient education skills were very poor for such an expensive and invasive procedure. Additionally, Dr. McKee was very impatient during each encounter. He even pulled my mouth open so aggressively during one visit that it actually split the corner of my lip. Luckily, I was numb at the time and didn’t feel it initially. If I ever need additional dental services, this office will not be an option for me.
I called to make an appointment, I was referred by my Dentist. I had been with Dr. McKee before and I had a great experience with Dr. McKee. Unfortunately my experience was not the same this time. A woman answer the call. I do not recall the name. I wish I did. But she was horrible to me. I ask for an appointment and the prices and she was nothing but unprofessional. I told her I could give her all the information for my insurance and she said, I was suppose to do that myself. Her tone of voice and her rudeness was incredible hurtful to me. I am a peace maker not a hater and thought about calling back to speak to a manager. I even thought about ignoring the phone call, however after praying for a long week. I thought. Dr. McKee would probably like to know about this terrible customer service experience. This woman is most likely treating other callers the same way. Or maybe it was just my accent. ? This is a great subject to discuss in my class and my programs. What is discrimination: Discrimination is crime is the act of making unjustified distinctions between human beings based on the groups, classes, or other categories to which they are perceived to belong. People may be discriminated on the basis of race, gender, age, religion, or sexual orientation, as well as other categories. Discrimination especially occurs when individuals or groups are unfairly treated in a way which is worse than other people are treated, on the basis of their actual or perceived membership in certain groups or social categories. It involves restricting members of one group from opportunities or privilege.
Hands down, the easiest and most pleasant dental experience I have ever had! I have had several horrible dental experiences throughout my life and am not the easiest patient, always expecting the worst. The staff was professional and kind and Dr. McKee was efficient, gentle, and explained everything as he was working. Actually looking forward to my return visit.
