Been going to appointments at friendly dental for about a year now and after some patience and hopes that things would turn around I have reached my limit. The fillings I have gotten done here almost always need a follow up visit to correct the bite causing immense amounts of pain and extra time away from work. They are constantly rescheduling appointments at the last minute and when I book appointments for certain services, they never have enough time to complete everything I came for. Today was probably the 3rd or 4th time since the beginning of the summer I have been asked to reschedule the day before the appointment. After many days of rearranging my work schedule and taking time off to try and accommodate their inconsistency, I have made the decision to find a new dentist with more professionalism and respect for patients time…hoping for better quality work as well.
I had my teeth cleaned here on 2 or 3 previous visits but today will be my last. Very unfriendly young lady who escorted me to the room and took my x-rays. Didn’t even speak to me accept to ask if anything changed since my last visit - no hello - good morning. Nothing! Didn’t even tell me or warn me she was putting the device in my mouth to take x rays! At the end of the session she says ” you can go back up front “ she was so unpleasant! My previous visits there and the assistants were very nice and attentive. Not this young lady! The front receptionist kept calling me " sweetie". Cringy and unprofessional! Address your clients by their last names please. I made an appointment to come back in six months but I will be canceling that. I never want to see that place again. The only reason I’m giving stars is because the hygienist and the doctor was nice.
As I’ve taken my daughter here for years, the staff has become very unfriendly and not professional as I have a custody order, and they denied me a parental rights of canceling appointments I have previously made an order for me to take my daughter to a different facility. They do not care to recognize legal documents. Update to my review as a show up today to sign a release form for my daughter’s information and x-rays to be sent to her new dentist that I will be taking her to. I was refused, unless I signed some form that they were pressuring on me to sign of being dismissed when I’m the one that dismissed that company that my daughter’s records would not be sent over. They act like they are the judge in a custody agreement. Then they tried to act like they are social services to make sure my daughter’s taking care of that. That was the reasoning of not allowing me to cancel the appointment. I’ve tried to get a hold of the CEO Jeff with no luck at all the highest I can get it would be Beth in Charlotte. She refused to give me her CEOs name. As I was told one thing from the office in Winston-Salem about signing that piece of paper to be released as a patient which was false, they would hold my daughters records. I spoke to Beth she said that wasn’t the case. The whole incident isn’t recording they don’t follow the rules or laws is there supposed to? I would not recommend taking my child or myself to this facility at all and I’m still waiting on a call or a remark from the CEO if anybody has a suggestion, or if there is a lawyer, that would love to look over this case, I would be happy to sit there with that person. There Hass to be civil laws that are broken on their end over this.
This was the only place that accepted my insurance so I went. Upon walking in, the two women at the reception desk were so sweet and welcoming. The wait wasn't bad either. I haven't been to a dentist in over 10 years and my hygienist made me feel so relaxed and reassured me that everything was going to be ok in which it was. She was patient with me and walked/talked me through everything she was doing as she was doing it. If I needed a breather, she allowed me to breathe for a second and went back to cleaning my teeth. If I ha questions, she answered them. The dentist was also fantastic. He walked into the room and talked to me about the procedures that I needed done and the health of my teeth etc. Also looked into my mouth and did his assessment. Overall, great place with great staff.
Friendly Dental has truly been the best dentist office I've visited in a long time. They have great customer service and make you feel comfortable. Dr. Khan took her time with me when I felt very anxious and I am so grateful for that! They will continue to have me as a patient for as long as possible!
Nice and easy to get in and out. I was able to make an appointment and get in rather soon. The ladies were all very nice. I took my daughter and they explained everything they were doing as they went along. Which is nice because some kids are scared and they made her feel comfortable. I’ll be bringing myself and my other kids as well.
I love the people and the atmosphere here. When upon entering the front of the building it is welcoming and friendly with restaurants near to grab a bit after. The staff worked was sweet they knew what they where doing. I wasn’t in pain nor did they allow me to be is discomfort. I am thankful for Friendly dental they are amazing!!! Don’t forget to go here if in need of a dentist.
I had an appointment at 2:30 I receive a message at 11:30 confirming my appointment, when I got there at 2:30 they told me that the doctor had an emergency and had to leave.lost a day of work and my time definitely not coming back.
Great service. Came in with my boyfriend and they were able to address his issues right away. I can't wait to get appt set up for regular cleanings and checkups. What an awesome staff.
Update: I had my permanent cap installed on my back molar. It lasted about 3.5 months and then came off while eating. The permanent glue apparently did not seal as liquid got under the cap. This caused bacteria to grow under the cap and loosen the glue over time. Dentist re-installed after my 6 month cleaning at no cost to me. I asked if it would be better to not permanently install so that I could take it off and clean it. Dentist explained it would be a choking hazard if it falls off while I'm breathing through my mouth. Seams like a logical reason to make it permanent. Although the cap fell off unexpectedly, I am happy with the dental services at this dentist office. The staff and dentist are professional, explain what they will do, answers my questions, and prompt with appointment time. Prior comment: This comment is for step 2 of getting a crown. Step 1 was root canal on molar by a specialist that dentist referred. Friendly Dental ground my molar and took a mold for a cap. They put in temporary cap while permanent cap gets made. They explained the procedure before doing it. They were careful to ensure the discomfort was minimized. The temporary cap fits well. Instructions to take care of temporary was thorough. They were professional and friendly. I will go back in a couple of weeks to get permanent cap.
