Dr Mushtaq

Does anyone know new address for this Doctor?I came to this address and could find his name on build directory. Suite 315 lists Children’s Heart Institue of John Hopkins.

While Dr. Awan is a great doctor and has been our family physician for many years, his receptionist and her husband are very rude, unprofessional, and always ready to argue and bicker. This review is only for them and not Dr. Awan and his service to the community. My father went to get his physical done here that’s required for his job. This physical should have been free, but my father was charged $75. My father talked to the receptionist, Shabana, and she tried to argue with him about this. Dr. Awan came and told her to refund the money. In the end, she told him that she would refund the $75 directly to his card. My father never got his money back. My father went in today to get a form signed for his job and to also ask about the refund. While Shabana was not there, her husband was. My father complained to him that the receptionist was hesitant to refund the money and he still hasn’t received his $75. Her husband was extremely rude and told him that he would not sign any papers for him and told him to “shut his mouth”. My father left without a signed form or refund. Is this how you talk to your patients? Both of them should not be in this line of work if they don’t want to talk to people and show common courtesy, decency, and respect. Very disappointed.

He has been our family physician for 20+ years. He is a good doctor & very knowledgeable overall. His receptionist, Shabana is rude however. She doesn’t listen to patient concerns and constantly interrupts. She is very argumentative & hangs up abruptly. She is bringing the value down of this doctor’s office. She needs to be fired.

Everyone complaining about having to wait so long and DID NOT have an appointment really shouldn’t be complaining. You all are lucky that he even offers walk ins, most doctors don’t offer that. Specially offices that only have ONE doctor working. I’ve waited 3-4 hours for a walk in too, but being seen by him was the reason why i was no longer in chronic condition the next day... the wait is worth it. If you don’t wanna wait—-make an appointment. Dr Mushtaq is a genius!!! I’ve been going to him since age 9, I am 25 now. My parents go to him as well, he’s a great doctor. And takes his time with each patient. Never rushes through appointments. THANK YOU DR MUSHTAQ!

Dr. MUSHTAQ Awan was a wonderful man other than a skilled surgeon and a physician. I didn't see him long time but May be he is retired now.

Terrible terrible terrible! I have seen him long time ago and really think that he is gifted doctor and a good man. The lady up front is so damn rude and not willing to accommodate at all. I had to walk in without an appointment, knew that I would have to wait and sat there for almost three hours without being called and couple of times I asked that lady at desk it felt like she was being disturbed and had that look on her face. Ended up walking out without seeing him. Can’t stand people who have no will to help anyone. Feel that way then stay home. Don’t be around public Take that damn headphone set out of your ear and at least try to be more accommodating. Terrible terrible terrible!

The doctor is good, but the women working in the office are horrible. Rude and incompetent. I’m not the only person I know who left as a patient solely because of the office lady. She should be fired if she can’t do her job correctly and think it’s ok to be rude to patients.

He is very very good doctor. I have been with him almost 20 years. Also the receptionist very good and respectful.

He is very knowledgeable. He has been my doctor since I was a child and always addresses concerns and cares for his patients.

Rude receptionist ruining a great doctor. She needs to learn to speak to the patients. Like every one else said below she is ruining it for doctor Mushtaq.
