My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Ward and his PA, Keiton Johnson.  We're old, and we've had therefore more experience in being treated by doctors than most younger people.  We can say, without reservation, that Dr. Ward and PA Johnson are the best health care providers we have had the good fortune to be treated by.  As a matter of fact, if it were not for them I would have never undergone a procedure that saved my life, and in another instance Dr. Ward himself performed a procedure that perhaps also saved my life.  No exaggeration.

Dr. Ruth is amazing and wonderful to work with. I really wish that she would work somewhere else because the rest of the staff is horrible.  If you have a medical problem that needs immediate attention just plan on going to the ER because the scheduling staff couldn't care less and it will take them a week at the earliest to get you in. I have had Dr. Ruth tell me to give her a call if I have any questions and to be turned away by the front office staff. I have never met a more arrogant and entitled group.  I will be looking for a new doctor.

I have worked with Ruth Beck for a couple years now, and my experience has been great with her. Her compassion towards the problem and me as a patient is a great feeling and I am never hesitant to bring up anything, even if it's a juvenile question.  The front desk is great to work with. I have a diagnosed uncurable social sickness known as RBF, and Perla still smiles and makes me feel welcome :

Love this place.  12yrs and counting. My boys and my husband see Dr. Ward. He is very professional and down to earth. He has great bed side manner.  The front desk is amazing. Perla is outstanding. She is very friendly and great at her job. Any questions I've had Perla can answer them or point me in the right direction. Hollie is so easy to talk to  She is great with relaying messages and calling us for follow up information. If your looking for family feel doctor and not pull a number kind of doctor. Reed ward is we're to go.  Thanks Dr. Ward and staff for such a great 12 yrs.

I had an appointment for my yearly exam and to get a prescription filled yesterday. From the very beginning, Shaun Westergard, PA-C was giving perfunctory, prepared, and general responses that had nothing to do with my concerns or questions. He made broad assumptions and kept saying some of my issues may be caused by my hormones because I’m a woman. He kept trying to recommend different medications for every concern I had instead of listening to me and offering alternatives. It is frustrating to not be listened to. He went into a long discussion on sleep apnea because he had worked with a pulmonologist. I never once said I had it and even after saying I had none of the symptoms, he kept going on about it. After leaving, I realized he never really gave me a physical, asked about a Pap smear which I was over due for, and didn’t ask any questions regarding my health or history because he was too focused on his prepared responses. He put my health at risk because he was more focused on his agenda than actually listening to me. Women are rarely listened to by male physicians and this leads to higher deaths in women because they write off the health concerns and blame it on our hormones. He was more focused on what he thought was important than listening to me. I’m sure he is a nice guy, but he is not a good physician. It is disheartening because I hate going to the doctor because I have never found anyone who wants to give me the time and understanding to manage my health. All this office is focused on is money and doing the bare minimum to get paid. They don’t care about you.

Your practice has been treating me and my wife for years.  Alan Jensen was one of your best PAs.  Your practice has been filling prescription for my wife's Xanax and started me on Atavan  for years.  Now, according to Shawn Westerguard we have to consult elsewhere for our meds.  He even documented our records so no other personel in your practice will serve our needs.  You can count on us no longer visiting your practice, nor will we recommend it to others.  Just leave your patients hang!

I am so disappointed in the service. We have went to Dr. Ward several years and never had issues but now that has changed. My daughters have a medical condition that requires them to see a specialist so we have to call each time to get a referral and now they refuse to send them unless they go see one of the revolving pa's in the office. Indentently my daughter who suffered a devastating miscarriage was turned away because they refused a referral.  If this is how they operate then we will find another physician who will actually take care of their patients.

I had a great experience at Dr. Ward’s office. My son was super congested and had a fever. I called first thing in the morning and was able to get in that afternoon. The office staff was friendly, the nurses were great & Dr. Ward was attentive and personable. He prescribed my son an antibiotic and we were on our way. Thanks to those who helped us that day. Will be going back for sure.

I recently moved here to Idaho Falls, and was told by my new neighbors to go to this practice since I was looking for a new doctor for my health needs. From my initial phone call setting my appointment to seeing Dr. Ruth Beck was a pleasant experience. The entire staff was professional, friendly, and the office itself is comfortable. Dr Ruth Beck gave me a complete examination and listened to my prior health history. Wonderful doctor who I highly recommend. Add in the great team there, I am so glad I found them. Thanks to all of you for your kindness and I look forward to having your wonderful team taking care of my health care needs for the years to come.

Unlike other reviews posted.  I have had nothing but great experiences at Dr. Ward's clinic. We moved up from Utah, and didn't know a soul. We started going to Dr Ward's office by chance more than anything, and we utilize his Nurse Practitioner's to assist with our routine and family care. Perla at the front desk memorized my name right away, and greets me when I come in. She makes me feel like 'Norm' from Cheers, "where everybody knows your name". Dr Ward has personally attended to some of my immediate issues, and was extremely responsive when the test results became available. I would not hesitate to refer a friend; in fact I have. The process is simple and what I presume to be standard anywhere.  I arrive, make my copay, have the visit, and receive a bill for anything not covered by insurance after billing.  Seems pretty cut and dry, but I guess this is hard for others.  I would say give them a try, I think you will have a great experience like I have.
