"Family First Medical Center is a team of family doctors, pediatricians, and physical therapists in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The clinic was founded in 2002 by Dr. Flint Packer. Dr. Packer wanted to start a medical practice where he could provide high-quality preventative care while building relationships with patients. In 2003, Dr. Boyd Southwick joined the team, bringing the same patient-centered philosophy as Dr. Packer. Both doctors are glad to provide comprehensive healthcare in the community. Candace is wonderful! She knows exactly what she’s doing and she tells you all the things you need to know to be able to take care of yourself at home after you leave the clinic. Everyone at the clinic is super nice. I think that Candace is the best physical therapist I’ve had the pleasure of working with. She is professional and friendly. I see absolutely no reason to go anywhere else and every reason to come in the family first and see Candace.
This is hands down my favorite doctors office. Dr. Steiner especially is amazing! He listens to my concerns and asks lots of questions to better understand. Then he walks me through treatment options and asks what I think, letting me make the decision about what I want to do. Dr. Steiner is compassionate and truly cares about his patients. I’ll be so sad if we ever move and have to find another doctor; I don’t think we’ll ever find anyone as good as him!
I had my first patient visit yesterday with Dr Steiner, he made me feel very comfortable, he listened to me patiently, you can tell he is very knowledgeable. The PA was also great, I can’t remember the name, it was either Holly or Crystal. Sorry . Anywho, my only bad experience at this place has been with receptionist Deboree, she needs to work on her costumer service and empathy.
The staff here are as friendly as can be. My Physical Therapist, Emilie Peterson is really good at her job, and is doing amazing things on my post surgery shoulder. I highly recommend her!
Very thorough as well as caring for their patients! I have done PT here for various reasons, and have worked with multiple people in the clinic, and they all have a desire to see improvement as well as to direct in any way they can!
Emily was great! Very knowledgeable and compassionate person! Highly recommend her! Turned an embarrassing issue into a fixable and confident issue!
I love the physical therapy department at Family First. The receptionist are accurate and kind. The techs are great! I especially love my official therapist here. She has been working with me for about a year. My musculoskeletal system is kind of a mess but she has listened and together we have prevented surgery and injections. Thank you PT staff for helping me though a challenging year.
Me and my son see a family practitioner here, Tyson Parker. He is excellent. He truly cares for each of his patients and treats them with dignity and respect. Also his vast knowledge and experience is reassurance that he will take good care of you and your health. The other physicians and staff are great also. I definitely recommend here for you and your family's healthcare.
We have our whole family here. The doctors especially our PCP Packer are all amazing. We have seen many other PA-Cs and Physicians here as well when Packer is unavailable and they are all well educated and sincere with our issues and concerns. The facility is big and clean and the front staff and other medical staff are very friendly and accommodating to every need. The billing is also done right compared to a few other offices I have been in town. Everything is done correctly and insurance is ran right so we never have hiccups on having to pay unnecessary costs. I recommend this medical facility to everyone in the area.
Great, knowledgeable staff. Family First physical therapy has a really positive environment, where the staff really seem to like each other and are happy to be doing what they are doing.
