Professional, welcoming, & caring. I was able to schedule a next day new patient appointment. Dr. Fisher & her staff are highly skilled in that they are knowledgeable & provide quality service. Up until now I never had a dentist discuss treatment options with me regarding an ongoing issue that I’ve had for some time now. Highly recommend!!
I do not recommend Dr. Fisher to use as a dentist. I had my teeth cleaned by her in February and in May, and both times was told, in her exact words, "Everything looked beautiful". My husband is military and we recently found out we will be moving. I took a form by that needed to be completed by Dr. Fisher to verify I was not in need of any dental care. I assumed everything was fine since she had told me everything looked beautiful in February and again in May. To my surprise when I picked up the form Dr. Fisher stated I had four cavities under old fillings and needed a crown on a fifth tooth. I called the office assuming they grabbed the wrong file. Eventually I spoke to Dr. Fisher and she stated she had informed me of the issues in February- she had not. She argued with me that she had discussed it in February and again in May, and had even sent in the needed work to my insurance and was awaiting approval from them. I asked when she had sent in the request to insurance so that I could follow up with them, and it was conveniently done the same day she filled out my form for overseas dental clearance. At this point I started to become suspicious. I am extremely health conscious and would never allow a dental issue to go untreated for seven months to fester. I am currently pregnant and she refused to work until after I deliver. She said she could complete all of the dental work to exclude the permanent crown within the same appointment in the future. Further investigation revealed this would be extremely risky as the five teeth are in multiple different areas throughout the mouth. I also knew that I would prefer to have the work completed while pregnant rather than being separated from my newborn for hours to have four fillings and a temporary crown installed. Out of fear for my health I found another dentist that was willing to work on me and had an exam done by them today. One of the fillings Dr. Fisher said I needed to have re done because there was a cavity underneath the filling does not even exist. None of the four teeth need new fillings and I do not need a crown as Dr. Fisher had stated. I went and looked through her reviews upon learning this and other patients have written she told them they needed multiple fillings or other dental procedures done, they got a second opinion, and were told by the new Dr. that they did not need the work Dr. Fisher had said they needed. Please visit a different office and save yourself from the pain of unnecessary dental procedures and the money Dr. Fisher is trying to scam from you and your insurance company. I am extremely shocked that a Doctor would make such a thing up. You expect a Doctor to have you health and wellness in mind, not the money they could profit off of you. Not only is she a doctor but also a veteran. I too am a veteran and would never think a veteran owned business would attempt to take advantage of their patients in such a manner. ***The office responded as though they were acting with the best intentions for my unborn child and said that the new office was doing the same. However, the new office was 100% willing to do the fillings and crown ASAP, while i am pregnant. However, there were no fillings or crowns that needed to be done.
I did not care for the way the entire visit had went. I was told to wait in the car until someone called me and came out to my car to get me, which was not that big of a deal but the building literally looks like you’re sitting in someone’s driveway to their house. As I am in the middle of my appointment the dentist kept bringing up about my other appointments and asking about my overall general health and kept going on and on about my overall health and my anxiety, which I was a little anxious talking about it but it was still fine, but then she made a remark about my teeth being cracked down the middles which I had braces before and also have grinded my teeth my entire life, I knew that’s why my teeth were so sensitive. But she said if I wanted teeth and not lose them by the age of 40 I would need to stop grinding my teeth but it’s not something I control, and also I would like to add I have all of my teeth and I’m almost 30, so it would be very unrealistic and dramatic to tell someone who cannot help grinding their teeth at night that if they did not stop they’d have no teeth by age of 40, very disrespectful. But anyway she said I’d need to have several caps put on and I had asked if insurance would cover that completely because they were within network it said, she said she would check with the insurance and see and give a call back, I have no received a call back or any further information. After feeling uncomfortable during the entire appointment and not receiving a call back, I will be scheduling with another local dentist office who will hopefully help me.
Oh my where to start with Dr . Shirley Fisher. She has always treated me with the out most respect and care. She always makes your visit to her office as stress free as possible. She always explain any procedures that she recommends, but she never forces anything on anyone. I have used Dr. Fisher for over 30 years. I highly recommend Dr. Shirley Fisher.
I went in for a few routine fillings and after 6 months of "Now you need this done, and this, and this..." etc, I am in more pain every day than I EVER was just having a few cavities that needed filled. Now I have hairline fractures on every tooth she did fillings on and I can barely chew anything without severe pain. After I would inform her of the pain after each filling she would just say "Oh, that's from clenching and grinding. You'll just need a crown." What?! I've never clenched or grinded my teeth in my life and the pain didn't happen until AFTER she worked on my teeth. The final straw for me was the last time I complained after a filling where I couldn't chew ANYTHING on that side she said "Well, you just need to see an ortho and get braces to fix your alignment issues because that is causing that tooth to fracture." Yeah, no. You've lost my business. It was always an excuse. Never her fault but I had ZERO problems before going to her. Now I live in pain every day.
Arrived 30 min early. Entire building locked up, hosebibs, outlets, front door. Sign on door says call from car, must wear mask and gloves. Called 2x from 2 different numbers, texted from 2 different numbers, knocked multiple times. Ended up leaving. Dentist calls and says you were here but now you left, that's a no show, find another dentist. Wouldn't recommend to an enemy.
This lady was a complete horror to visit. She was extremely rude and belittling to my Autistic teenager. I do not recommend. They responded saying they believe that I have the wrong office. No I don't. Dr. Fisher off Elberta rd is the office I am referring to. Thanks.
Dr Fisher and her staff always make you feel like family. They care about your dental and personal health.
When I was finally approved for dental through Tricare, I called around and every office, and they gave me a month waiting period. When I called Dr. Fisher's office, I was scheduled within the next week. The atmosphere was extremely pleasant, and I was assigned Dr. Tommy. He was AMAZING!!! I had to have two appointments, and each time I felt so at ease with him, almost like I knew him since high school. I met Dr. Fisher as well, and her energy was electrifying. She too made me feel like family. But most importantly, I have to thank the dental receptionist who took me in. I believe her name was Jessica, but she was very welcoming and helpful. Their service is beyond exceptional, and I definitely recommend this company.
Great experience every visit. Dr. Fisher and her team show genuine care. I trust them with with helping to ensure my overall dental health.
