Dr SanGiacomo is a hidden gem. His practice is in Cortland NY out of the way, but that is where you can find the best oral surgery care. His office staff are efficient and friendly. His medical assistants are caring and competent. And the Dr is just a good doctor. This is the third extraction over many years that he has done for me and I felt better in two days post surgery. I know that every procedure is different but a short recuperation for me tells me that I had less trauma than I expected. He also did an implant for me in the past, in a front tooth that must look good since it is right up front. I am just very pleased with how he and staff treat their patients.

I've had two teeth extracted by Dr. SanGiacomo over 4 years and I would 100% recommend him. I'm a total chicken when it comes to dental work. For both procedures, I went in feeling very apprehensive. He and his staff are kind, reassuring, and they clearly explain what they're doing. I made it through both with far less fear than I expected, and felt no pain during either.

I had my wisdom teeth pulled yesterday. This was the first time i had such procedure done and was understandably nervous. Doctor did an excellent job explaining the options during my consultation. His staff also did a great job to make me feel comfortable and relaxed. The after care was solid and they make sure that i understand what needs to be done with the open wound. He was so gentle during the process that I didn't feel anything during and afterward. I got a prescription for pain killer but i didn't even need that noted -- i have a very low pain tolerance. I will highly recommend anyone to come to his practice for similar procedures. Oh, did i mention the cherry on the top -- the cost of the procedure is so reasonable that I didn't get that in Ithaca which is only half an hour away. THANK YOU for the great experience!!

1. Worst experience ever. 2. Asked me to wait at the car because I am not a patient, although I was accompanying one with me. I never been in a place where the staff are rude, racist, and judgmental as hell. 3. I wouldn't reccomend this place.

My experience with the doctor and staff, excellent! Always straight forward with the procedure, expanding the details. Always leave with green booklet, gauze and what to expect the next few days after surgery.

Yesterday was the first time I have had a tooth pulled in 40 years so I was very nervous. The receptionist Krissy was very welcoming and friendly. The assistant Tamara was amazing. She was there for even a 55 year old who still needs her hand held lol. Dr. Sangiacomo was funny yet very reassuring through the whole process. I hope I never have to have a procedure done again but if I do then this is the place I'm definitely going to .

My husband broke his wisdom tooth and needed it removed. They were able to see us quickly, and the total cost for the procedure was actually LESS than they had quoted us! They gave plenty of after-care instructions, and told him what to be on the lookout for. Overall could not have asked for a better experience!

He was not concerned when I called about an infection after tooth extraction and told me not to worry about it. He also made derogatory statements about my profession while at my appointment. I spent 10 days in the hospital with a serious infection and now have long-term complications. Would never recommend.

Maestro with numbing injections and stubborn root removal.He explains everthing he is doing. By the next morning I felt great, no pain. Make sure you follow the helpful info in their little yellow leaflet. Take pain meds at 1st twinge and ice pack 1st 24 hours.Thanks to Doc and staff for great care.
