the compassionate management of chronic neurological disease as well as pain syndromes
As physicians who care for those with chronic neurological disease and chronic pain, we have a difficult task to balance the need to control what has become the most disabling type of disease, with the need to educate patients on the long term side effects of allopathic therapies. Drugs, surgery and interventions all have significant risks, so we need to help our patients make intelligent choices about their healthcare choices with the use of imaging studies and electro-diagnsotic tools we have available.
We also believe in access to medical care irrespective of the ability to pay. All citizens have the moral and constitutional right to have their basic human needs for food, heat, air quality and water quality and medical access to healthcare.
To that end we have a plan for those without adequate healthcare such as a sliding scale for those without insurance.
Our compassion begins with the appointment and ends with the billing company and even collection personnel.
We hope to make life more tolerable for those living in pain and with disability from chronic neurological disease.
Thank you!
