Dr. Brooks is married to his wife Rebecca and they have 3 children Jacob, Alex, and Lily. Continuing education is a priority of Dr. Brooks; he has a Bachelor's degree of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Tennessee and Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry. As a Master of Academy of General Dentistry, he has completed over 1100 hours of continuing education courses, with half earned in specific disciplines. He has achieved most of this through the University of Alabama’s Mastership four-year program and have also graduated from the University of Georgia’s Health Sciences University College of Dental Medicine’s comprehensive training program in implant dentistry.
