Dr. Casey, Dr. B and Jessica are such great individuals. They are such understanding and caring people towards your needs. I’ve always had such a great experience and received such well patient care from them. The entire staff always prioritizes their patients and handles them with kindness.
Dr. Spinner and Dr. Galloway are great. They are very good neurologists but also have a very conversational and understanding tone. I really appreciated Dr. Spinner talking to me about some of the more nerdy things I have read up about on PubMed regarding Raynaud's. I personally find neurology to be a rather fascinating branch of medicine. I have found they take my observations and curiosity seriously, no matter how medically benign they may be. In addition, I have found the technicians and the staff to be very helpful and easy to work with. I have had to move and adjust dates and times of appointments and they were nothing but prompt and understanding. No complaints, smooth ride. I highly recommend this practice.
Besides that fact that you get passed off to PA's after seeing the MD at your first visit and never again, this greedy practice charges you if you want copies of your own test results faxed to you. Charging for paper copieswhich they also do is gross as it is, but at least they have the excuse of spending money on paper and postage to mail them to you. The nickle and diming after having paid thousands of dollars for their services is disgusting, and as a result they come off as a two-bit practice that cares more about money than they do their patients. Also a seemingly disproportionate number of the people you speak to on the phone are rude, and that's when you actually manage to get someone on the phone. I've left 5 messsges with their records department explaining that not only do I want a copy of my test results, but also that a surgeon I'm seeing wants them sent to him over 5 weeks that haven't even been acknowledged. As a result I had to use the "schedule an appointment" prompt on the phone in order to speak with a human being and ultimately get obnoxiously delivered partial information. I've never left any review for a doctors office, let alone a negative one, but this practice deserves it. All around bad experience, that can't be chalked off to a single employee having a bad day. Go anywhere but here.
Some of the worst care my husband has ever received. He relies on Botox to improve his quality of life as he has migraines multiple times a week without it. After 5 months of waiting for his Botox to come in they are now no longer in network. Total joke. Not to mention they never answer the phone or return your calls. This experience has been a total detriment to his mental health and quality of life. This office should honestly be ashamed of the care they provide to patients. It’s totally ridiculous.
Been going there for over two years. Have seen the same PA Danielle Bruno, that moved there after my previous doctor retired. She is excellent but during that time I only saw a neurologist once and who didn’t specialize in migraines. There was never an annual review w a Dr and when asked I was told that the PA speaks w the doctor which didnt give me satisfaction. The PA seems to be on top of new meds and the regime seems to work. Before my last visit I was told that they no longer paid for the Botox that I would need for by quarterly visits and would have to pay fir it before my appointment. I did this and now waiting for reimbursement from insurance. now have a new migraine neurologist w a major provider who will see me quarterly, responds by internal email and will provide and inject Botox. When I called North Suffolk to cancel two appointments the agent didnt ask or wonder why I canceled. My overall experience is mixed as Danielle is good but the policies of the practice is not for me.
I have been coming here since January and I have seen quite a few doctors and PA's now. I suffer from Severe Migraines and Sinus Migraines along with a shoulder condition and Plates and screws in my arm from a horrible car accident. They have been so wondering and helpful during my time of need. I am so glad to be a patient and would not go anywhere else. These doctors are down to earth and people always forget now a days that doctors are human to
2 years ago I had a very bad case of shingles. I was in severe pain and wished I coukd be put in a medical coma until it was gone. The severe pain lasted at least 1 month, then slightly less for another month. Even with my bad rash across my breast to under my arm to under my shoulder blade he didn't seem to care or understand how bad the pain was. Dr Spinner prescribed me Gababentin which did not help at all from the beggining. I would cry all say and I would hold my shirt off my skin and I didn't want to move. It's 2 yrs later now and I still have pain, PHN pain from it. I would never go back to this office.
I have been using this practice for a few years now. This was the ONLY office that understood all the medical issues I have, and are able to address them properly. My appointments are quick now, but at first they did take their time with every question and concern I had. They never rushed me, and actually listened! Thankful to the drs, nurses, pa's and staff! Every single person there is kind, caring, compassionate and some that I've experienced are very funny! Thankful I found a place like this!
not right how they treat there patients who are in need of proper care medical care numerous telephone calls and they dont return phone calls or give u a appointment guess my other half will be going elsewhere its absolutely ridiculous
The office has been nothing but difficult. They do not return telephone calls and are very dismissive about their responsibilities. My daughter has been a patient for 3 years. The no-fault coverage has ended and we are going to bill under my family health plan. She has been waiting on an authorization for medication for almost a month. The office tells me it will be requested each day and nothing happens. They now decided she is a new patient since it is under my family insurance now. They will not authorize the medication until the doctor sees her in person. She is 8 hours away. They said a telehealth visit was fine but since we moved it to my insurance an in person visit is required. Everytime I call it times out or they hang up on me. I thought doctors are suppose to care about their patients? It definitely does not feel that way with this office. When will you take accountability for your lack of responses?
