The Kurtosh Kalacs originated from Romania, more precisely from Transylvania, the first cookbook which mentioned the Kurtosh recipe was issued in 1723 ....
"Here at Dracula's Chimney Cakes, we bake a 300-year-old Transylvanian product called: chimney cake. It’s a slightly sweet yeast dough that we wrap around a wood rolling pin and then it gets baked overheat.
