Drexel Kebab & Gyro

Sadly, this place closed down. They just didn't get the traffic. We love this place, it's my 13 year old niece's favorite place to eat right now. How lucky to have a place like this right in our neighborhood, we can walk there and often do. The staff is pleasant and accommodating. It's right across the street from Brother's Pizza in the middle of the strip of stores. We order the New York Gyro platter with chicken, it's delicious! It's a gyro with no bread, served over rice with a salad and the most delicious sauce. It's not spicy, but they offer additional sauces to bring the heat. We mix the salad in and eat it together, the crunch and coolness adds to the yumminess. Don't let this place go out of Business, its too good to lose.

Wonderful food, a definite favorite in Drexel Hill. Family who runs it is always so pleasant and funny. Food is always ready quick, and the gyros are awesome. If you’re wondering where to eat tonight go here!

This place is Drexel Hills best kept secret! The food is always fresh and flavorful and I always end up ordering more than I want and having food for days. The gentleman behind the counter is always so polite. I would eat here every day if I could! Oh and the lassi is AMAZING!!

Best place I've been to for halal. I live in the city and been to a ton of places in the university city area but Drexel Kabab and gyro is best tasting food I have had by far. Ingredients are extremely fresh and the service is top notch- everyone that works here has great rappport with the customers. THE go to order for myself is the chicken kabab with rice and and salad-always with cucumber sauce and hot sauce. Very generous portions and very filling. This place is a hidden gem in the wesphilly/drexel hill area.

The food was phenomenal from the dinner to the desert . A really hidden treasure for sure,the staff was attentive and courteous. Just a hint if you can't decide. Spicy mango chicken, beef gyros,baklava

While in Evacuation Irma Mode. My wife and I googled Persian Food near me. We found "A Platinum Mine"!!!! My first bite took me back 20 plus years when I was in Bahrain. Super Fresh, delicious, large portions and steaming hot. Give yourself a hug and dine here!! You Deserve It!!!!

Very nice place. Good service, very friendly owners. Food was plentiful and we'll priced. Price was reasonable too. Would recommend and will most likely be back, especially to try the quick take out menu items.

Drexel Kebab was delish . The freshness of their ingredients was on point. Their gyro and chicken was so good and rice well prepared and cooked. Repeat visits are on the horizon.
