Yes! Finally, a first class pool for the community. Well designed and well organized, it is definitely state of the art and handicapped accessible. Plus, there are four large pools: a game pool with pool rain, foot spouts, mushroom rain, graduated walk-in, water basketball, and slides, a pool with swim lanes for practicing your strokes, a dive pool with small rock wall and a baby pool. You enter the pool by pool screening check walkthrough a forced pool shower across the walkway. However, there are a few buts, and they are still major considerations. 1. Entry into the pool is a diagnostic nightmare. You must register your group in advance, arrive early, and, wait about 20-30 mins with your group. Then, IF YOU ARE DRESSED IN BATHING SUIT out there in the parking open area YOU MAY ENTER THE POOL!!!!! Others may wait under the six umbrellas outside. Inside three lovely age and swim appropriate pools await you with lifeguards BUT there is little or no side seating, you must be in the pool or camp on wall or lawn. 2. Parking is still a nightmare. That has not been corrected, so now that we have this huge pool that everyone wants to go to, Either the park or pool needs to do something about the little peninsula of a neck that you drive into, on arrival as there is not a lot of bus or street parking. 3. Lockers rooms are there for quick in out changes but remain to be updated with locks. Otherwise, congrats Druid Hill-/ you got y’self a niiiiiiiiiiiiiice nice pool! Time to get wet, y’all! :- This pool is a huge beautification project and improvement for the area, but still did not get 5 stars because of points above. Otherwise, it’s a cool pool! Literally, temperature wise!
Very Friendly environment my Grandchildren had a wonderful time and we plan too return again... wonderful upgrade and the Staff was excellent
Great friendly pool for little ones. The little pool is 18 inches deep so toddlers can explore and enjoy the baby slide. Welcoming and fun!
Since the pool reopened, it's a lovely spot in the park to chill and relax. It's a great layout and plenty of space. Go for Adult Swim after 5.
The renovation is awesome!!! Love the separate pools for diving, laps, play, and babies. Also great shady areas--much more than at Patterson Park pool. Just remember you can't bring in a a bag or clothes and you have to leave it in a locker, but you can carry in towel, water, and sunscreen. And register online to make your checkin faster.
It's great! The remodel looks so cool and admission is free right now! Just try and get there 15-30 min before the time slot. There is a chance you might not get in.
Absolutely ridiculous. Imcompotent managers. Our session started at 3pm at 330 we where still standing in line because chlorine had to dispensed. They refused to allow more time on our session. Meanwhile the previous session was supposed to end at 230 instead patrons were told to leave the pool at 220. When I complained to the manager I was told that it was free this summer so what did I expect. Also don't bring quarters there aren't any lockers.
My Family And I Really Enjoyed Ourselves At The Pool. The Life Guards Are Very Good At Watching Everyone. The Water Feels Amazing.. Try It For Yallselves. You Won't Be Disappointed
The pools are nice and clean, theirs nice waters and a splash area for little ones. Most areas do contain risk bands.
Aside from the sometimes unruly younger locals and the time limited sessions it's a good place to have family fun
