We came here for some snacks and pastries. The store was super packed with multiple areas offering a specific snack or drink. In the center is a large table full of bright and colorful pastries and munchies. You can hear the crowd chatting away and going about their grocery shopping. Interesting store. Worth a revisit.
This Che place was pretty, but we were able to order and pay out pretty quickly. They offer a variety of Che, drinks, banh mi, and other to go foods and desserts. Their Che portion was on the smaller side, so I would recommend ordering a couple if you’re looking to be able to enjoy your dessert in more than one sitting!
There have so many great options, snacks and dessert in particular. You might want to bring a vietnamese friend with you because they don't really speak english over there.Food: 4/5
The Vietnamese dessert establishment offers a delightful array of dishes and desserts, showcasing a wide range of flavors that are sure to satisfy. However, regrettably, the service experience left much to be desired. During my visit, I opted to purchase some desserts to take away. Given the long drive back to Austin, I kindly requested that certain ingredients be packed separately to ensure their freshness. Unfortunately, a staff member seemed unwilling to accommodate my request, providing vague reasons for their refusal. This aspect of the experience was rather disappointing.
Great place for Vietnamese Banh Mi. I personally like the grilled pork. The filling is very generous. If you are also looking for Vietnamese desserts e.g. che, they have a wide variety.
I love the Cassava dessert and the dried sweet rice dessert and I want to try the mixed sweet rice dessert this time. I think for the price of a whole box for $3.50 is fair but when select a box of mixed dessert, it cost $4.50 is a bit much. I think it still should be the same price since the portion is the same. It would help for older people that craving for these to enjoy if the price is good for them.
Great place for all Vietnamese deserts and pastries. I always stop here every time I visit Houston to fill up on Viet Che. I feel like they make the best coconut milk for their Che that why I keep coming back. They even sell Banh Mi that I have yet try so I can’t comment. Prices are fair and service are quick. They make the Che in front of you which I really like.
Very big store. Great selection for Vietnamese dessert but the line is a bit long. That being said, it's got some of the best food in this whole area and is worth a try. This place is quite popular but the wait is 100% worth it!
The shop is clean, inside and out which is a good sign. They were packed at 9:30am but the line moves rather quickly. This was my first time here so I decided to pick up a few things for the entire day. I ordered Che Thai and a number #10 on the Che menu with crushed ice on the side. I also got a slice of the Casava cake similar to the American ooey gooey cake the Xoi Ga $5 What a steal for the portion Banh Mi Dac Biet, and lastly a piece of fried banana. Everything rang up for $25 with tax! The fried banana had a thick batter, crispy and chewy. It was delicious! My favorite place for banh mi has always been Lee's Sandwich but this place has now tied for the number one spot. Everything was fantastic from the service, experience down to the food. Give this place a try! You won't be disappointed!
