It is a Forest Service Campground, but what makes this place special is the camp host. We would like to give a big shout out to Billy and all of his help. He let us know about side-by-siding trails and the Cascade Waterfall. These places are off the beaten path that we might have overlooked otherwise and we are thankful that we experienced these Utah gems! In the campground, the bathrooms were kept clean and stocked. This was a wonderful experience!
Beautiful scenery and still not far from home. The drive there takes my breath away every time. Trees, water, and wildlife. Add in the flushing toilets and you are good to go! There is so much to do, hiking, caves, rocks and such amazing views! P.S. Each of the camp hosts I've met so far have been great! Monica is the best. Thank you Monica for your help in the midst of a crisis.
We camped in 13A campground. It was peaceful and beautiful. They warn about bears, but the chipmunks were into everything. Inside backpacks, on tables, in van! They were darling and entertaining. The campground bathrooms were fine but often out of tp. We will definitely go back. Nearby activities: We fished in the pond near campground and caught our limit of trout in one hour. Rented OHV and rode bikes.
Make a reservation if you plan to go. It’s pretty busy. The fee once you’re there is $23 per car and $10 each additional. Senior fee is $11.50. it’s based off of the Honor system. You grab an envelope, put your money and drop it in the secure tube. There are several campgrounds around in the area. All bathrooms were clean and had plenty of TP. Noteworthy details: There is no Cell service. Be sure to download your maps or bring a traditional paper map/directions.
We normally go Boondocking/Dispersed Camping to get away from the crowds and have the outdoor experience. BUT Duck Creek Campground is one of the nicest I've been to. Plenty of trees, nice spacing in between campsites, are probably the nicest cleanest bathrooms I've been in a campground. Duck Creek Campground is also the cleanest of all
Our camp host was so nice! He helped us get a better group site when the one reserved didn't fit all of our campers they ARE sticklers about dogs on leashes, though, so be warned! And the children LOVED our spot! Such a great weekend there! Clean bathrooms, beautiful walks, great place to be!! Can't wait to go back!
Camping must. Trout fishing in the creek is like shooting fish in a barrel.. not as easy as it sounds but still fun..!! Nearby activities: Fishing, hiking, biking, kayaking..
A very nice Campground clean well spaced out very enjoyable experienceService: 5/5
Excellent camp hosts. We could only get one night reservation, but camp hosts Kristi and Rich helped us find a first come first served site right from the first night so we wouldn't have to switch sites. Our site was a beautiful Aspen Grove. Biggest complaint is no showers....we took a shower at Bryce canyon's general store.
Probably the nicest US Forrest service places I've stayed at. Big sites spaced far apart, lots of trees. I would stay there again if the opportunity presented itself. It is dry camping but there is a dump station to use on the way out.
