Great campground close to the Cedar Breaks National Monument. Bathrooms were clean and firewood by the bucket was great. It is dog friendly but they have to be one a leash.
Beautiful campsite within walking distance to two amazing scenic views. The campsite had a great bathroom with a really nice shower but you need to get the code from the camp host. The tent pad was comfortable and water was closed by. The stars were spectacular!
Stayed here one night Aug 4 in camp site #16. It's a small campground, but #16 is probably the best site because it feels private yet has lots of space. #16 is actually an RV site no hook-ups, but I was in my truck with a tent. There is a firepit with a grill and an aluminum picnic table. The men's bathroom is kept clean. Did not try the shower. The price of $24 was a good value. I was not able to get any mobile phone service Verizon. Very quiet after 10pm.
7/5/22- Cedar Breaks is a secret treasure! Who knew there was a tiny Bryce Canyon like only 20 minutes from Cedar City UT without all the crowds and tourist traps? We camped for 2 nights at Point Supreme campground and loved it! It’s a small campground at 10,000’ under beautiful spruce trees. It has one restroom that has flush toilets, showers and an outdoor clean-out sink for dishwashing. The camp host was very friendly and helpful. There is a short walking trail from the campground leading to the National Monument’s VisitorCenter, however the trail is not well marked and we first ended up at the ranger housing and maintenance yard. The rangers and staff at the visitor center were friendly and knowledgeable. Other short trails and lookouts can be accessed from the campground so no need to drive around looking for parking.
Absolutely breathtaking campground. Cedar breaks is literally across the street. Far enough off the road you don't hear anything and clean hot showers. The camp host was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend staying here if you can get a spot.
Awesome campground! I wouldn't really say there is a bad site, but some are definitely better than others depending on how you're camping. We stayed in site 21, some people don't like it but we loved it. Not a lot of shade but it's cool enough on the mountain that it didn't matter. It wasn't right next to other sites, and had close access to water, the restrooms, the dunpsters, the hiking trails, etc. Without being on top of any of them. It was perfect. No reception with Verizon, TMobile works best on cedar mountain. You can get service at the visitor center though.
Close spots but crowd was well behaved. Best thing was the showers, hot and free! Some fcfs but most were reserved well in advance. No hookups, water and trash, flush toilets available, hosts on site, Restrooms: Flush toilets, clean Dog-friendliness: close quarters but some walking trails close
Middy our camp host was fantastic. Highly recommend this spot. Bathrooms were super clean and hot showers too! We'll be back!
It was an awesome place to bring the kids! Trails leading from the Campsite was beautiful! We had a group of 20 and about 8 of us had allergies! Lol Also it sits at 10,600ft in elevation so breathing was a little tiring.
A beautiful campground with nice clean bathrooms. Be careful what site you pick. #2 was in full sun all afternoon. Be sure to stay up late and see the stars. We woke our kids up one night at 2 am to see the milky way! It's something they will never forget.
