Very local, small old playground, has 2 lined soccer fields with no nets .. only real convenience is the shades available on sunny days .. def could use a makeover
It's a lovely park just behind Dufief elementary school. It's smaller than the Kentlands' massive pond/lakes so it's easy to do multiple laps of the park on a walk. Dogs are allowed and there's often deer munching away. I usually stay to the walking path around the main soccer field so I'm not familiar with the park off to the to the North. There re several tennis courts and parking available as well as walking access to the various neighborhoods that surround it. It would be a great place for a community event except there are no public bathrooms except an HC port-a-jon at the end of the parking lot.
I mean, it's a small neighborhood park, nothing fancy, but it's nice: two playground areas plus two more at the adjacent school, all equipment in good condition, has both open fields and shady trees. Never crowded, but almost always a few people there. We visit often.
Using the main soccer field. Field is a little bumpy and lots of deer deuce, but nice field. Porta potties are available on site as well. Kids play area does not have swings, but there is a fun seesaw and a small jungle gym with a slide. Good place for a nice walk. Three tennis courts available as well, nets did not look very saggy.
Beautiful park with tons of playgrounds and open space, tennis courts, lots of families with kids. Only minor negative is that very few people were wearing masks, which should be at minimum worn on the playgrounds, but hopefully that will not matter forever.
It's not big, but it's a nice play to run around and play. Best part is definitely the trees — they're so fun to climb!
We walk dogs here. There is an elementary school nearby. It is probably a better park for families with younger children.
Not really a Park. Just a soccer field with pedestrian walk around it and 2 children playgrounds.
Serene, quiet, peaceful...
Could have been better. Had a pretty decent Field though.
