Dugas Dental, located in Lewis Center, OH on the NW corner of US-23 and Powell Rd., is the first of its kind in the area to embrace a growing trend in health care called “Concierge Dentistry”. Our outstanding customer service includes excellent, personalized dental care all while being treated to amenities such as Starbucks coffee, iPads for checking emails, and noise-cancelling headphones.
We offer these services free of charge to our patients, similar to a free upgrade from coach to first-class on an airline. Dugas Dental provides a quality comprehensive dental plan customized to each patient’s needs and desires. We are first and foremost in the business of caring for people. Our warm, friendly team will go above and beyond to exceed your expectations because building long-lasting relationships is of the utmost importance to us.
We truly looked at the office design for Dugas Dental from the patient’s point of view. We chose colors that are calm and peaceful, chairs that are comfortable and relaxing, and added amenities such as high-definition TVs in each room. We researched the key factors that keep people from going to the dentist and addressed each one:
1) Time – We understand people are busier than ever, so we make it a point to seat you before your scheduled appointment time whenever possible. We pay close attention to how we schedule appointments, so we always try to run on time.
2) Cost – We are in network with most major insurance companies (Aetna, Delta, Cigna, Metlife, Guardian, Anthem, United Health Care, Dentemax, Companion Life and Humana) and work with Care Credit® to make dentistry affordable. We also offer a discount plan for those without insurance. Our fees are fair and reasonable for the area.
3) Comfort – The fear of a painful shot should be a thing of the past. We use strong topical anesthetic to pre-numb the area and then use Dental Vibe to distract the nerve endings. Those two items, combined with a slow injection technique, virtually eliminates any discomfort.
4) Understanding – Many patients leave the dentist office confused and overwhelmed, and do not return because they do not understand why they need the treatment. We take a “tour of the mouth” by using a top of the line intra-oral camera to take color photos of all your teeth. Combined with digital x-rays, we can use the in-room TV to show you the treatment we recommend. You’ll see it as clearly as we do!
