Beautiful little campground. Very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the rustic camp area and had a great time. Caught a few fish in the ponds on the property, including a bass ! We will definitely be coming back here again! Restrooms: Super clean bathrooms. Cleaned daily and well maintained.
Awesome campground from the beautiful beach and little ponds stocked with fish to the front desk person everything was super nice. Bathrooms were always clean and pretty nice. Only complaint is it was a little tighter then I like and it was kinda close to a road but not enough for me to rate it less this was a beautiful campground. Playground: Had a very nice playground for littler kids to play on Restrooms: The bathrooms where super clean and fairly modern and nice Picnic area: Had a nice little picnic area by the playground
This was our first time camping with our toddlers and our pop up camper. Imagine our horror when we realize the site we booked does not allow pop ups totally my mistake when booking!! It's 6pm on a Friday night and we've got nowhere to stay. The owner let us use an emergency spot that they had reserved. They are so kind, great folks. And our spot had a beautiful view of the lake. We had the BEST weekend! Cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen at a campground. Very family friendly, we put the kids to bed at 8pm and it was nice and quiet. Great little lake for swimming and kayaking. We are booking our next reservation immediately.
Very nice. Quite even though our spot was along the road. Clean bathrooms. We checked in after the office was closed and it took us awhile before we realized that we could simple go to our spot. Lake was nice as well.
We we're invited to come and stay at Dumont Campground as guest of Josiah & Megan Badger. What an awesome place for a family getaway. It was so awesome sitting and talking to someone who was a seasonal camper. He was so encouraging as he shared what a fantastic job the Managers -Josiah & Megan were doing. He shared that they were so accommodating to ALL the campers. A jump house for the kids at the campground and also pickleball. We would definitely love to come back again. Great Fun Time ! Thanks Josiah, Megan & kids.
Clean bathrooms/showers. Playground for kids. Lake close by to cool off. All sites have a firepit.
Very nice place to camp. Everyone is friendly. Sites are clean. We had an amazing time here. It's a quiet camping community. Playground: There are lots of things for children to do here. There's a playground, basketball hoop, Frisbee golf, swimming, and a small pond kids can fish in. Restrooms: Cleaned daily by the ground owners. They have porta-johns for the swimmers also. Dog-friendliness: I have noticed, most people who stay here have dogs. They like them to be leashed, but we've never had any issues. Picnic area: There's a pavillion for campers with power, a grill, and quite a few picnic tables. Very nice.
Dumont Lake family campground is a wonderful place to camp, we really enjoyed our camping experience, the management was absolutely wonderful at helping us out with our needs, very friendly management and fellow campers, we will without any doubt be back. Pets are welcome which is a big plus, we enjoy taking our fur babies with us, the play area for kids was kept clean and safe for children of all ages, the bathrooms were clean and well maintained.
This is a great campground especially for families that like it a bit more quiet. The playground is loads of fun for all ages. The fishing ponds are very large and full of life and will definately lead to hours of fun catching frogs, fish and turtles. The lakefront beach is beautiful and clean, and a great place to park your boat or launch your kayaks and have a day out on the great Dumont Lake. And did I mention the whole park is dog friendly?! If your pups love the water this place is perfect! And the campsites are probably some of the best I have ever stayed at. The sites are very spacious, well kept and perfectly shaded. Will be back, this place is a gem and gets 11/10 from our family!
Our first time camping on a holiday in many year's. This place is awesome with Josiah the manager and wife doing a awesome job. This place is the friendliness we ever been.
