Jaycee Park

Went to a memorial at the pavilion there for a dear family friend recently, God rest her soul, and wanted to share.... Dog park?? Yeah, how nice tht was. They shld be more interested and invested in a GOOSE PARK. I saw less dog feces than I did goose, to put it kindly, droppings. Visiting JC Park recently I understand now the saying "slick as goose ?!?!" because the ground was covered in exactly tht with every step u take. Now I love nature like the next guy, I'ma country boy at heart, yet that's too much country and nature in one place. #BIGNASTYINDACITY Picnic area: Ooohh LOOORRDD!!!! The picnic areas by the riverfront kayak launch is the big nasty I spoke of. Disgusting to say the least. Goose grease as far as ya feet cld step. Was embarrassed to see children down there playing catch football, running and diving in the grass. I never diverted my eyes from the ground until I reached the concrete. For shame city parks and rec dept.

Clean, with a large area for large dogs. There are plenty of trash cans and bags for clean ups, too. I did see some small dog owners get nervous when larger dogs would attempt to get over the 4 foot tall fences.

Nice place to visit but no doors on bathroom stalls. I'm sure that's due to a multitude of reasons however it would be nice to have some even small improvements to the area.

My family really enjoys going here!! You can cook out,play on the playground and fish while your doggies run at the doggie park.

I really enjoy bringing my dog here. There is an area for smaller dogs and an area for larger dogs. Both have a double gate system and seating. There are also tunnels for the big dogs to run through and on top of and it's large enough for them to run quite a distance and burn off some energy. The park always has bags for picking up after your pet, though the locals don't seem overly fond of being responsible.

Nice place for the kids to play. Playground: Big play area. Dog-friendliness: Nice fenced in area for your dog to run.

My family and I love taking our two dogs to Jaycee Park to run and play off leash. They provide poop bags as well as tunnels for the dogs to play in. They have a dog water bowl fountain for the dogs to drink from with no hassle though it does get turned off a little ways into fall to prevent frozen pipes.. It is one of the only places that has a dog-park with an additional park for kids. I would definitely recommend Jaycee Dog Park.

This place provides a small area for little dogs and puppies as well as a larger area for big ones. It provides water fountains for dogs as well as a few tunnels to run thru. And the kids playground keeps kids busy as well. Love it

Fenced yard, though muddy often. On site dog water fountain. Few activities for the dogs, aside from running around there's only a tube to go through. They hang poop bags around the fence for people to clean up after their dogs. Never seen any other dogs here, kinda disappointing.

Nice place to take your pet. Not to crowded the times I've been there. Friendly people all around. Pretty big place for them to roam but not be too close to other dogs.
