Not only a Beautiful structure, a Magnificent place of learning. So much to do, see, hear, listen to, enjoy and simply engage life. Bring your family, children, friends and loved ones to this library, and discover the World.
The Central Library has such a calming atmosphere. There are many books for adults and children alike to enjoy. Additionally, they have more copies of their inventory than some libraries I have seen in the past. There are numerous places to sit and read. Although it was closed today, I saw that there's a cafe inside. Who can pass on a cup of coffee and a book? I wish that they were open to provide a review. Regardless, walking through the library was pleasant. They also provide multiple computers for use. If interested, then people can use their business center. Overall, if I lived in the area then I would love to visit the Central Library!
I visited here as a tourist. You can find many copies of their inventory compared to other libraries. The sitting place is huge. You can drink coffee inside while reading books. I felt so good to walk in the library. There were some computers available. I recommend to visit this place if you are a tourist like me.
Very impressive and coordinated public library in the heart of Brooklyn in New York City. The Central Library is very close to the Central Museum. The library complex is big and it has different sections where various services are offered. The attendants and service providers are professional and very friendly. The library atmosphere is conducive for learning and studying. There is also a cafe within the library building. You can register and get your library card instantly and by that have access to the library.
The Brooklyn Public Library-Central Library has renovated a few times and this renovation makes the main floor more open and brighter than I've ever seen it. Beautiful! The mode seems to have shifted to encourage a more self-sufficient service. I believe people may appreciate it.
If you want quiet don't bother coming there between the construction yes you read correctly and the daily outbursts from the homeless patrons Its a luck of the draw. The upper levels fill up quickly you'll have a change of quiet. The staff is extremely helpful and passionate about what they do despite of the chaos on the lower level
This is one of my favorite libraries in NYC. It’s super clean. It’s in a beautiful location. Staff is pretty nice. Very spacious and organized. There are plenty of sitting areas in and outside of the library.
An excellent source for all information. Easily accessible and staff kindly willing to help. Massive ability to research in a comfortable setting. Located in a historical area adjacent to Prospect Park it is a great day trip.Interesting building just a 2 minute away from Brooklyn Museum and Botanic Garden Architecture is interesting and it is on the corner by the Grand Army Plaza. Free phone charging stand in lobby and big enough and special! The design is beautiful ! Friendly staff and very helpful! Good security!Subway station is very close ... /1or 2 /
The biggest and all around best library in Brooklyn,it's also the main branch with a lot of services that can be helpful to you in a lot of ways depending on what kind of service you are looking for.also the hours are great m-t-9am to 8pm f-s-9am to 6pm and Sunday 1pm to 5pm seven days of business that's great
They really try to keep it clean and staffed with helpful personnel. It's everything a library should be and in addition to the obvious benefits of a library, it's also anice place for tourists to visit in Brooklyn!
