Dyer-Lake Funeral Home

About

Our mission is to provide the highest level of funeral and cremation services to those we are honored to serve. That service is our privilege.

Description

Dyer-Lake is comprised of many talented individuals performing various functions. Importantly, though, we recognize that it is the sum of the efforts of everyone at Dyer-Lake that exceeds the contributions of any one individual. In turn, the families we are privileged to serve benefit from the efforts of the entire Dyer-Lake team.

We are equally as proud of our commitment to the community. Please join us for any one or all of our programs or presentations - at no cost and without any obligation.

Join Jay Elias for our wonderfully informative monthly "Dyer-Lake Presents . . ." series to enhance your Personal Wellness and Awareness!

We are the only funeral home in the area to offer monthly group grief support meetings with a licensed social worker, Rose Murrin, LICSW. Anyone is welcome to attend these group meetings, regardless of whether or not Dyer-Lake provided services. They are always free of cost and without any obligation.

Our core values are the key principles that guide our conduct and our professional relationships.

They define how we engage with each other at Dyer-Lake, with the families we serve and with our community. These attributes create the moral and ethical compass that permits us to conduct our business at all times with integrity, professionalism and honesty.

Feel free to contact us at any time to learn more about Dyer-Lake.

Dyer-Lake is "Peace of Mind".

Tim and the entire team at Dyer Lake are simply amazing. I highly recommend them. Tim was by our side from the second I called him. Everything was very easy and smooth making the grieving process much easier. Tim took care of all the things so we didn’t have to think about much! I wouldn’t send a loved one anywhere else! Do yourself a favor and call Dyer Lake FH.
Over the course of the last 3 years, we have worked with Dyer-Lake in connection with funeral services for each of our parents, and have found the experience consistently exceeds all expectations. Michael, Tim, Shelly, and the entire Dyer-Lake team have been extraordinary in their sensitivity, responsiveness, and attention to detail. They bring not only impressive technical skill but deep professionalism and humanity to the work they do. They are also to be credited for keeping their ears open for ways they can go the extra mile to help and support the grieving family and truly celebrate the unique life of the deceased. We were delighted by many of the thoughtful “little touches” that are seemingly second nature to the way they approach their work. My rating is 5 stars and beyond—I would highly and enthusiastically recommend this business to any family.
The staff at Dyer-Lake Funeral Home are top notch. Over the past three years my family has utilized their funeral services twice and both times the funeral director, Tim, went above and beyond to make a very difficult time go as smooth as possible and with a great deal of support. My family has decided to only work with Dyer-Lake in the future, and I highly recommend their services to anyone who has lost a loved one. They truly go above and beyond!
I want to thank the staff of Dyer-Lake Funeral Home for the kindness and professionalism shown after my husband passed away recently. From the moment my family and I met with Tim, I knew we had made the right decision in choosing Dyer-Lake to help us during our saddest time. Tim eased any anxiety we initially had and worked with us in such a personal way to make the best arrangements for my husband's care and services. He made himself readily available by phone call and text following our meeting and he and Shelly took amazing care of us during my husband's wake, even offering our guests packets of seeds for them to plant in memory of my husband because Tim knew my husband's love for the environment. Dyer-Lake works as a team with Tim, Michael, Jay, Shelly and other staff to offer comfort and care to all those entering the doors to their beautiful facility and for that, my family and I are forever grateful.
The whole team at Dyer Lake was incredibly helpful throughout my Dad's funeral services. We worked closely with Tim, who was thoughtful and kind during the entire process. From arranging the actual services to answering our most trivial questions, my family really felt that we had a partner during this terrible time. I can't recommend Dyer Lake enough. Additionally, we recommend even more if your loved one was a veteran. The team at Dyer Lake is very well-versed in handling the details and helped to secure his place at the State Cemetery with military honors.
My mom passed in late November and I contacted Dyer-Lake. My family has used their services many times in the past for different family members that have passed away. My Dad and younger brother included. I was in contact with Tim, and he was absolutely amazing. He gave me some very useful information, went above and beyond to help me get things sorted out I live 2hrs drive away and work overnights so all of this was done remotely. He was very understanding and so helpful. This was my first experience in actually planning a funeral of any sort my Dad already had his all set up, and I was too young to assist with my brother's when he passed. I cannot recommend this place enough, and especially Tim was such a big help and made the whole process as smooth as possible during a very difficult time.
There are not enough words to express my gratitude to Dyer Lake Funeral home. Michael and Tim just took the reins from me. My story is heart wrenching. I didn’t think I would have had to call Michael again so soon. Almost 4 years ago I lost my x husband. I called Dyer Lake to make arrangements for him. We had the wake and funeral all together which It worked out beautifully. I went and sat down with them and filled out paperwork and I was done. Besides having phone calls, they took control of it and they made sure everything I wanted and requested was granted. When we walked into the room before the guest arrived, it was breathtaking! Every corner of the room including the middle was a beautiful displayed. My x husbands Kurt life was displayed EVERYWHERE for It was like walking back in time. The music we requested was beautifully set to the memorial service. They made it so personal and special and we had so very many people stating that they never seen such a beautiful service. So now here I am again. I have a friend/co worker that was in a motorcycle accident that took his life. The only family member my friend Mike had was his father. They were not on speaking terms, but I still reached out to his father. His father refused to go an ID him. He stated he wasn’t going to spend a cent on him!! I refuse to just leave my friend Mike in ashes and late the state take over. I called Michael at Dyer Lake again and once again he took full control. I signed papers and he took the stress from me for I was already stressing on how are we going to raise money for mikes service. My friend had nothing and his own father shut the door in my face. Michael at Dyer Lake knew I didn’t have the funds yet but my place of employment where helping me take collections from all the union members to give our friend Mike a respected celebration. I was able to bring home his ashes without the stress of how I am going to pay it. Fortunately I was able to collect enough funds. There are some people out there that have no family no one and every single life is important to God!! So again THANKYOU Michael and Tim for all your help with this.. There is no other funeral home I would use but Dyer- Lake
When you go through a loss, you need compassionate, competent and reliable help with the funeral arrangements, and Dyer-Lake and its staff were a God-send. We appreciated their professionalism and responsiveness to our needs. They made a difficult time easier to manage. Our family is very grateful.
Tim and staff - Words cannot express our sincere appreciation for helping us through this difficult time. The compassion you showed to me and my family during this this very sad time was very comforting. We are truly touched by your kindness and professionalism in arranging mom’s services. It was beautiful! On behalf of all of us, including mom, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We will forever be grateful for all you did.
I just got back from my Sister’s funeral and can not say enough about Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, specifically Tim and Mike. Tim was there during the whole process and made a difficult time much less stressful. My nieces were so thankful for the care and compassion they received while grieving the loss of their mother. Although it was a very sad and emotional time, we could not have been more pleased with the care and compassion shown to us during both the wake and the funeral.
