We had a fantastic wedding ceremony and reception at Eaglewood! Their event coordinator, Eileen Miller, was a dream to work with and made our experience even better. She helped us through every step of the process - from doing a virtual tour of the grounds to helping us move our ceremony inside due to weather. She was always able to answer our questions and was quick to respond. We highly recommend working with her! Our wedding ceremony and reception were both in the Red Oak Ballroom, which is spacious and beautiful. The room also had a reception hall and outdoor patio for our guests to use. There was plenty of space for dancing and socializing throughout the evening. Our guests also had a wonderful time at our reception and absolutely raved about the food. Everything from the cocktail appetizers to the plated dinner was phenomenal. The wedding package also included a stay in the junior suite. The room was beautiful and was a great place for the groomsmen to get ready in. It even had a balcony overlooking the golf course. We highly recommend this venue.
Amazing!!! Got a penthouse suite for an all girl's lingerie and games party and babyyyy! We had a time that night. The resort is very pretty. Golf course nice. The breakfast buffet was good. Only gripe is the pool/spa is located in another building that you have to walk outside to.get to . Other than that, it was nice. Staff was decent.
My wife and I were there for a couples retreat. Beautiful hotel. We received a warm and cordial greeting from the desk clerk. The room itself was lovely. This was the first hotel bed that I was able to sleep in all night in a long time. The food that was provided quite delicious and well prepared. The entire staff is well trained and provided excellent service the entire time we were there.
The rooms are very spacious, the view of the golf course breathtaking. The food was good the conference rooms excellence . Overall, the property and the building makes a well-kept impression. However, unfortunately, overall a bit outdated. The air conditioning in the rooms and the balcony doors definitely need maintenance. In the course of a conference I would come again.
If you do not golf, I would not recommend you staying here. Golf is about all they can offer. My husband and I came here for a quick little in town get away. We were were really excited about coming to this place because we just wanted to stay in doors. We wanted to be able to park our car and physically stay inside the “resort” all weekend. Unfortunately this is not what happened, we had no choice but to leave. Otherwise we would have been bored and starved out of our minds! None of the featured amenities were available during our stay. The 2 times we went to the bowling alley there were private parties and we were not allowed in. We went to the indoor pool/jacuzzi at 7pm and it was closed. The golf simulator was not available. No decent food after 6pm, no room service, no housekeeping, no cups/microwave in the rooms geesh! Am I at a Motel 6 ? Saturday evening, the lively patio area was shut down. Mind you we went Labor Day weekend, I expected some sort of effort to gather guest. We actually could have just went to country inn suites at least they have fresh baked cookies . Now I must say that the customer service from everyone we encountered was impeccable. From the shuttle driver to the cook Russell who made my fresh omelette all of the workers were extremely kind and you could tell that they genuinely like their job. Overall it was a decent place to stay, will we return unlikely. Would I recommend? Yes if you love golf.
Nice place! When you first walk, very luxurious and Nice atmosphere. Fun adults get away, never needing to leave if staying just a weekend. Only 4 stars the room upgrade was nice for more space but not worth the extra amount. Rooms: Nice modern rooms, but really warn down. Stayed in a suit with an extra living space. All the furniture was nicked up walls were scratched and the bathroom was very small. For the money in that particular room I wouldn't spend again I would get a regular room. Nearby activities: So many fun adult things to do, golfing, spa, outdoor fire pit, botchy ball, bowling and pool. All on site no need to drive walking distance. Walkability: A lot of walking from room to parking lot and other locations. Food & drinks: Yes! Good food and 2 restaurants and a snack lounge alcohol served at all locations.
This maybe an awesome golf resort in the summer but in the winter go elsewhere as almost everything closes early or is closed for the season so you have to leave the resort. It’s alright is only looking for a nice place to sleep. The pool is an Outdoor, approx 18 steps down onto an uncovered walk approx 1 block length full parking lot length from the hotel in an independent building with the Spa. During nicer weather this would not necessarily a problem unless, you have a stroller then you have to go outside from main entrance & triple the walk, or it is winter 15 degrees for us and your kids have wet heads in winter coats and are slipping and sliding on the sidewalk back to the hotel. The bowling alley is seasonal and was closed. The main store is well supplied but was closed before 5pm and you could only order from the bar around 5 too. While the hallways and decorations are classic and well maintained with wood accents and pretty holiday decorations and a fireplace in the main entry, the rooms themselves are clean but need some updates, like room coffee makers &/or microwaves. They did have a loaner room coffee maker but we had to request it. So be prepared for no coffee maker, no microwave, & no refrigerator in the rooms. This makes traveling with children more difficult, if they are like mine. Unable to warm anything up after the pool, so instead of soup they were left with snacks and crackers or we would have needed to leave the hotel.
I really enjoyed my stay at the resort!! I loved the area and everything I wish the Cafe stayed open a little longer. Also there should be microwaves in the room since there are no late food options on the premises. I will definitely be back.Rooms: 5/5
Went to a wedding reception that was truly special. The staff were all kind n efficient. The food was excellent. I look forward to my next time there. Most important is not to b shy to tip the staff. They earn it and we should recognise it. ThanksService: 5/5
I was just here to relax, spacious room, big comfy bed, tub to soak in, nice body wash in bathroom. No microwave in room, but there is one near the lobby. Temp in room kind of cool, although I adjusted thermostat. Need to be comfortable walking, it's quite a distance, check in from the room elevators. Limited food services on site. In residential area, car needed to explore off-site. Free parking, free wifi Rooms: Spacious, comfy, wrap around balcony, fridge in room, tub, plenty business connectivity Safety: Private area, woodsy, golf area. I felt safe Walkability: Must be comfortable walking, vast area, plenty opportunity to walk on site, indoors or out Food & drinks: Limited food onsite, restaurant currently open just for breakfast, market open for snacks mon thru friday
