I am a return customer and will be s long as I live here. They care. They know how a deep tissue massage is supposed to be. They adjust, if perhaps the pressure is too much in one area, but good in another. It's always clean!!! As far as tipping... unless it's really a bad service, I always give at least 20%. A 90 minute proper deep tissue massage for $90 is DEFINITELY a fair price.

This place NEVER DISAPPOINTS! Love it! Great prices and great service, clean, nice pogoda style decor private massage rooms for body work and comfy foot massage chairs that'll be sure to make you fall asleep during your reflexology session! The original Shanti is located in Fort Lee where it all started circa 2004.

The best massage you will ever have, I had a severe back pain after a Kickboxing class and AMBER was expert and strong if you want a hard massage. Recomended.

Amber gives an incredible massage. Strong but not too much. Really helped my lower back. Will be a regular!

Had a 1 hour body massage and 15 min foot massage. Intensity was just right and the masseuse spent a good amount of time in each area. Would have been great if they’d asked what intensity I preferred and communicated a little better but overall a great massage for the price.

I wish I could a half star… Came to get a massage. Decided to get a 60 minute massage for 50.00 .. So I decided to use my debt card as payment she wanted to charge a extra 3.00 to us my card. Ok fine it’s about that much to take off the atm if not using your bank, I go to pay and she tells me I have to tip before I even receive a service .. $10 for Soft $15 for medium and 20 for strong, so what exactly is the $50 for ? So depending on how much I tip before my service depends on how good of a massage I will receive. RIP RIP RIP OFF!

Responding back to the owner’s reply: You are blaming your customer for trying to be considerate about your worker. That’s a horrible attitude on your side. In response to the tip, the lady doesn’t ask how was the massage. She just says you only gave $5 when I should’ve given 0 and then points to the poster on the table about tip. You say tip isn’t mandatory but you make your customers feel uncomfortable by asking why they aren’t paying tip?! How rude. Original review: Got a 60 minute foot massage with the husband and honestly I always feel bad for the workers because they are overworked and probably underpaid. With that in mind, that doesn't mean the masseuse should be FALLING ASLEEP during the massage. I'm still so shocked and annoyed by my experience that I want to make sure people know what they're getting themselves into. When you call and make an appointment, they'll ask you basically for the time and if you want a man or woman. We opted for male masseuses. Also they haven't updated their prices on the website because everything's increased about $5. Our 60 min foot massage was $40 and the kicker is this. They have mandatory tip. So throughout my whole massage, I was contemplating if I should ask for a different person and being the overthinker I am, I decided I'll just not tip the guy because I made excuses for him in my head - he must be super tired or not feeling well, etc etc. Well at the end of the massage, I told my husband we're not tipping my guy bc he was basically horrible, but my husband felt bad so decided to give him $5. Guess what, the guy goes up to the front and complains we only gave him $5! The front lady in broken english also warning to all who come here, they speak MINIMAL english so don't expect any full on explanation for anything points to a piece of paper with three smiley faces about how to tip. sorry I don't have the picture. Basically the poster suggests tip prices stating: $10 for regular, $15 medium intensity, $20 strong intensity. I was speechless at their audacity and the man's lack of integrity. I told the lady, I shouldn't tip anything because the man was falling asleep during the whole massage, and then she asked him if he was, and he sheepishly and obviously lied saying he didn't sleep. Ultimately, the point is these people don't care about service. They are NOT professional so what you get is what you get. It's a pot of random luck.

Whenever I am tired the first place I want to visit is Shanti Spa in Englewood. The minute I walk in I felt relaxed. The music is soothing and place is always immediately clean. The masseuse is polite and skillful. I would requested to pay attention to certain area, and she always does as I requested. Sometimes she will remind me that my neck or shoulder is too tight maybe I should take few breaks when I work. I referred Shanti Spa in Englewood too all my friends and I already got many thanks. If you are around Englewood, treat your self to a nice massage experience. You will love it.
