East Cleveland has a lot of great potential. The homes, parks, scenery and above all the people who have been for years who are dedicated to seeing this city thrive. Having said all of that, the mayor is the leader of this city and he has to not only be accessible to the people of the city, he had the responsibility of making sure the city is being ran in an efficient, organized and caring way. The morale of the city, the hope and care has to be built up again in the people and this will transcend into making real changes in the city like the stopping of littering, the homeowners getting the funding they need yo get the necessary repairs. Creating entrepreneurship programs for our youth and adults. Assistance for those who need help with reading. East Cleveland has one of the highest illiteracy rates in the county. I believe it can be done but the leadership must be on board with taking responsibility for getting the people and resources that are needed to make the changes ASAP!
Decent people, trying to keep the city going as well as reestablish boundaries and laws to the public. I am confident that they will be HONEST and JUST. Their job is not easy and WE, THE PUBLIC MUST BE PATIENT just as THE CITY’s EMPLOYEES TOO, MUST BE PATIENT. With these things in mind, this small city will become a better place, but it takes all of us. God bless the People and City of East Cleveland.
I suppose incompetent is the nicest thing I can say, I have been trying to get a point of sale that was ordered in July of 2022 done, It is 11-7. Yet another sad day for EC and its residents. Pathetic display Mr Mayor. No wonder EC has the worst and most embarrsing waterfront on the planet. Can anyone in EC just do there job?
Mayor Brandon King when asked about automatic traffic lights reinstatement: "This is a relief. A relief for residents who understand the need for safety." No the safety concern is all the homicides and robberies in your city. To have the nerve to send out a "violation" for turning right on red, with my turn signal clearly on in your picture. You should be ashamed. Your city is an embarrassment. You have homes going for 15k with trees through the middle of the house. Make East Cleveland somewhere you want to live, not somewhere to avoid at all costs due to crimes and your idea of "safety" by traffic cameras. Definitely will avoid spending any money at any gas station or store inside of East Cleveland and any chance to bring income to a city that promotes stealing money from its own residents.
Best city in Ohio!! When you get there stop by Taylor's More 4 Less.
East cleveland charges $100 to rent reservations for their park areas. You can make reservations for park areas in cleveland and surrounding areas free. East cleve must be out of their minds.
Nothing ever gets done I made a call to the police and they came out 3 hours later and did not even do what I called about they sat on the corner of the street at the wrong address talking 3 squad cars and did nothing I could have been dead in 3 hours...
