Has saved many of peoples lives!! For some people, they came in here without a job and no kind of knowledge or resources and EITC will give you the tools to come out on top. Many awesome counselors here and not to mention the wonderful nurses. If it wasn't for them we wouldn't get our meds. I have had a few bad experiences here but you take the good with the bad.
This place has a handful of dedicated staff. The rest of them are not a positive influence to ppl trying to recover. I strongly urge those who are in need of a real support network to not choose this facility for your recovery needs. It feels like the main goal is money and recovery is just a meaning less word used for advertisement. There is no real sense of stability or consistency other than being consistently late for work or other engagements. I really do believe in medicated assisted treatment and really do hope this place would really change for the good. So many wonderful ppl give their trust, time and money to this place and only get a small cup of pink syrup in return. I wouldn't have a problem with that if that what they were advertising. Sadly it is not. When you join this clinic or treatment center they give you a number and I truly believe that a number is all you are to most of them. By assigning you this number they strip you of your identity and individuality from the first day there. Every day you return and you see a overworked or uninterested person asking your number then demanding a payment and then pushing you out the door. When you open up to a staff member they act as if you are a bother and aren't worth the time. I know no other place that you pay up front daily for a service and there be no real sense of customer service or in a medical stand point no real care or concern. It's disheartening and disturbing. And yet each day we return and wait a ridiculous amount of time in a medication line. And our voice is unheard or misunderstood and we are pushed back out into the world.
Alot of really nice people that work in this facility and make a difference in alot of lives. These nurses here are so caring and will tell you and follow through too that if u need to talk you can call the after hours number and you'll always be answered and talked well to and it's just great the way they are. So loving caring respectful. They really do care so much. Not all super heros wear capes that's the truth ... I fully trust these nurses and I have opened up about a few things I have never been able to be open about to anyone but I can stand up inside a little booth like area for a few minutes and be completely comfortable and get something off my chest and it is just natural it just happens and so many times I've left there and just heading home smiling singing and just so happy ..some the most most words in a 2 minute time period can help some people in so many ways.for people to feel open and like someone really cares so people don't have anyone at all so the way these nurses are is a beautiful thing . I have lots of respect for them I honestly do. It may not seem like they do much but it's what they don't realize they're doing is what makes that huge difference and it's just them being themselves so they don't see how great they are at where they're at.. I pray for them often and wish them well in my prayers because I believe God has great plans for people with true hearts with real care and love to people they don't even know or just met and getting to know in a small booth as they see them for a minute or two .... God has plans for real people like this I believe this with all my heart ~~ ∆∆∆ ~~~∆∆ One of the oldest medical occupations, nursing is integral to patient care. Nurses play a crucial role in the recovery of patients. They are responsible for giving them post care and the emotional support needed to cope with ailments. It’s the nurses who make it possible for health care facilities and hospitals to provide high-quality health care to their patients. ~~ ∆∆∆ ~~~ ∆∆ “Nurses are the heart of health care.” “Nursing is not for everyone. It takes a very strong, intelligent, and compassionate person to take on the ills of the world with passion and purpose and work to maintain the health and well-being of the planet. No wonder you're exhausted at the end of the day!” your heart is at work, making sure every client that comes through your door doesn't need more then what your there for, you instinct like a mother can read her babies cry and what it is saying. Your heart is busy ..your eyes are checking your brain is double triple checking and this is all while smiling chatting typing and reading from your computer. Your busy being selfless.. This has got to be exhausting. “A nurse will always give us hope, an angel with a stethoscope.” “Every Nurse is Angel with a Key for Healthy Community! All in Caring for Patients is part of Nursing Soul!” “America’s nurses are the beating heart of our medical system.” “Nurses – one of the few blessings of being ill.”
I've been lucky to have such an incredible counselor which helps tremendously. I've followed the program and didn't and either way she was always there. Hate having long wait times but only having to go once a week it's totally worth it.
Methadone maintenance saved my life. I've been a stable patient at EITC since 2010 and I couldn't imagine where I'd be without facilities like this one. If you're serious about seeking help for opiate addiction don't hesitate to check them out.
I'm proud to say that I wrote a N. Y. doctor explaining I needed a methadone clinic to save my life and, the late Dr. Vincent Dole, researcher made the needed arrangements and opened E. I. T. C. which did save my life among many others , one friend went on to become a drug counselor himself I had a positive experience, now opiate free and run and own several businesses without the services provided here from all the staff life would of remained a dead end this was in 1997-2007, no doubt the staff has changed many times, very personal experience and had take home once a month really was not problematic in any manner
That is a big fat lie to say you was there for 8 years and didnt know one person who completed treatment!! They have a bullientin board in the lobby of people every month who completed treatment!! You would know that if you actually went there.. Maybe it didnt work for you cause you were thinking negative about it.. I think EITC is great for people who actually want help it works because it blocks out wanting to get high you dont even think about getting high...
This place saved my life. The staff an the nurse are great an respectful. They do care about you. They want to see you do good.
As long as you want the help, then they'll be there to give it to you....do the treatment right & you'll have a successful recovery!!!! Definitely has helped me. Anytime someone says something negative then they're not doing what their supposed to be doing & are wasting their own time & money.
This place is the LAST place I would go for help they have been in trouble for insurance fraud and the director doesn't care about anyone but money neither do the counselor s I would never send a loved one here they will die from negligence and being pushed back to street the nurses have been caught stealing medications out of ppls purses wallets ect and apparently the director will do nothing and there is no one above him just terrible experience for me and countless other s I wish I would have listened before coming there for help . Help was the last thing I received
