Description

East Los Angeles offers a great course to a new career in Powerline Mechanic. Learning everything from Respect, Manners and Good Behavior to Rigging, Digging, Climbing and Groundsmanship. It is certificate based requiring 600 hours until completion. A very grueling and physical trade that pushes one to their limits to become a lineman. Most of all a Brotherhood!

I want to express my gratitude to my teachers, Ms. Alcaraz, Ms. Cuevas and Ms. Milner, Ms. Hasselberger and the school for all your support throughout this journey. I didn’t believe I was going to be able to one day finish my high school. Coming to this school, was one of the best decisions I ever make. Not only, the school help me accomplish my degree but they also guided me and support me in so many ways. As expected from a low-cost secondary school. Nothing but lousy, unprofessional, and unfriendly staff who's there for their paychecks. My advice for new students: Take your orientation somewhere else other than here. Never have I felt disgusted and uncomfortable with an instructor who's unorganized, barely shows up on time, and makes unnecessary comments and jokes. Heck, doesn't even introduce themselves whether they're the instructor or not. Very awkward! Not sure how I feel about the classes here or the main campus. Will update to see how it goes.
This skills center has the most best dedicated teachers of ALL OCCUPATIONAL/SKILLS schools around that area!! Teachers and staff are very respectful, professional and fantastic , fun and easy learning teaching methods!! thank you superb teachers and school staff!! simply the best skills/adult school!!
Signed up in the ACCT to finish credits for high school. Signed up on June finished a class I was unable to finish in 2 years at another facility. Mr.Velasquez is very straight forward great counselor with a very interesting point of view. If you sign up I recommend you go to his 2 part orientation.
Honestly very content with this school. I passed on my first try and the aid everyone proportionated was amazing. I'm a college student and honestly this facility is more helpful than the college itself. I got my CNA certification with Ms. Margie RN. And honestly no one is more helpful than her. Also for medical terminology Mr. Gonzalez was an outstanding professor to.
I just really appreciate mrs Cobain shes awesome im taking medical terminology and learning so much in her class
I just want to say to the instructors and teachers, counselors , you didn't waste your time with me I use every skill I learned there to succeed in life I miss you all .
It is a great learning center with a cheaper fee ,free ESL classes i love it
