East Ridge Middle School

This school is horrible! I've never encountered so many "petty" teachers and administrators. When you send your children to school you don't expect them to be harassed and bullied by the staff. Well that has been mine, as well as several other parents I personally know, experience! Finally got fed up and contacted the school board. I wish I had reviewed this school before I moved into their zone! Parents beware!!!! If there was a setting for zero stars that would be my choice ^_^

there are some flaws with this school. there are lots of students do misbehave and get punished. and there are some rude teachers. but i love this place and im honestly going to miss it. im moving to groveland and i’d give ANYTHING just to stay here. theres just as many friendly students and teachers as there are cruel ones. the building itself is very clean, big, and pretty. there’s funny kids who act like class clowns and make the entire class feel included, its the best. but most importantly, its your everyday school. nothing too right, nothing too wrong. its home. no matter where i go, i’ll always be a spartan.

I don't even want to put one star the school sucks! Nothing but issues from all staff members their is lots of drug and alcohol in the school among staff and students they are very racist against mixed kids and they are there to only fail your child everything that comes out of their mouths are lies they don't communicate at all its their way or no way. If your child is trying out for sports don't bother they already have team picked before practice even starts and the AP sidorik does not know how to communicate and bullies the parents along with the kids. I have talked to several lake County officers that pulled their child from that school because it's the worst in clermont. Avoid this school as much as you can.

School is great. WARNING: if you are having any custody issues, DO NOT trust Dr. Eric Sochocki or Principal Mayuski. They will tell you they are for your child but only want to cover themselves legally, regardless of the truth.

I moved to Clermont for a more relaxed environment away from the Orlando traffic and noise for myself and my children. I asked around before I moved to the ERMS school district and heard ER was a new school and had great reviews. My son has now been there for 6th grade 7th VS and 8th grade. I have had nothing but issues with the teachers not all, students and staff. My son says they bring alcohol to school in their thermos's, pills and marijuana to share. I have also had issues with teachers throwing physical tantrums in class and screaming at my son an other students. When a complaint is made, you are greeted with an attitude, not from all the staff but from the staff that handles issues. I have heard from recently graduated students from ERHS and other parents that the high school is worse. These are all things that I moved here in order to avoid. My son will not be attending ERHS, even if it means paying and sending him to a charter school.

I don’t know the rate on this place, but I’m going here next year during 7th grade. Is there a drama program? Becuase ive been seeing that this school is bad... Also, overall what is the ‘rate’ on this school? Coming from Orange County to Lake County...

The school is so boring and they don't give us any freedom We can't choose where we sit at lunch We aren't allowed to use phones AT ALL And almost all the teachers are mean The best teachers at the school are Mr.St.Clair and Mrs.Bodzioch

Spartans are AWESOME! Amazing principle and awesome school!
