This is a not a review of East West bank, which is a great bank, but of a loan officer, Ms. Holly Huang, which I have the pleasure of calling my friend. I am writing this not as a review but to thank people who really love their job and care about their clients. After CTBC bank almost derailed my escrow by their incompetence things got so bad that the sellers gave me a 3 day notice to get rid of CTBC and my loan officer or they would pull the plug, I met Holly at East West Bank. Before even meeting Holly, she had arranged a conference call with their supervising underwriter, Roger. Roger was an encyclopedia of real estate transactional law, he was accurate in everything he said and it was a no brainer to ask for Holly’s help. My loan process took a little over two weeks and escrow closed in less than four weeks after I met Holly. Holly set up a chat group with my agent, transaction coordinator, and me. I had regular contact with Holly from early in the morning until late at night. Sometimes I was embarrassed because Holly would update me at 6:00 AM. Holly is amazing, she was more interested in building relationships than being a loan agent. Roger was the magician in the background moving mountains to push my loan forward. At some point my agent wanted to make me go back to CTBC and was telling me to make a decision even though I had told her, I would never leave East West Bank and Holly. This was my open reply to her in the chat group: “there is no decision to be made. My loan is with Holly. I trust Holly and respect her. She is working very hard to expedite this loan. My relationships are only with people I can trust. I will never disrespect Holly by going to another lender. That is not how you build relationships”. And this is exactly what she is to all her clients. Holly is in the business of building relationships for the Future of East West Bank. And art that is almost forgotten in today’s banking world. This note is written on the balcony of a home which I would have not had, but for Holly, while I am watching the sunset.
I spoke to Samzon Leung who has been our to-go person at EWB Diamond Bar branch for almost two decades. I emailed her about the charge, and she reversed it in a matter of days after some research. These 5 stars go to her! Previous post Spoke to Andrew at the Diamond Bar Branch on Oct 14, 2022, regarding a check that has been debited twice. It has been two months, and the issue is still not resolved.

My Current House And Warehouse Mortgage Loan Also In This Bank.I'm Glad That The Original Decision Was Correct.

I've banked with East West Diamond Bar branch for well over a decade. One thing that has always impressed me is how they service clients. Recently I had to help my elderly family members to access online portal. It usually is a simple task. However, the challenge is that my family is traveling aboard and there is no EW bank locally. Due to recent scammers, additional verification is required, and the process is a bit complex. Usually, a super size bank will route you through 200 different departments and make you spend 500 hours on the phone before you get things done. I was lucky to have EW on my back. My first call got me connected with a lady named Kelly. She knows what I am talking about and started to prepare necessary documentations right away. She kept me updated and followed up on the progress daily for the next two days. She even made oversea phone calls to my family, for security reasons, to protect their assets. This may be just a regular banking process, but I am impressed with how they helped us. We don't have jumbo accounts in EW, but they always treat us like VIPs. Not just Kelly, I even get to know their branch manager personally over the years. Again, it's not because we have big money there by any stretch. This branch has a charm of a family owned business. Every client is pampered. Thank you EW Diamond Bar!
My Mom and I have been banking at this East West Bank EWB in Diamond Bar DB since Oct 2020. We have had a few wonderful staff members assist us in the past. Just want to say thanks to Mandy Chen, Fannie Wen, and Kenneth Chan for their great service in the past. Thank you! Kelly Ly has been the bank rep who manages our CD accounts for over one year now. She is wonderful... very friendly and pleasant. She is very professional, knows/does her job very well, and helpful/willing to assist us however she can. Whenever Kelly is out of the office, there is always someone else to assist us... usually it is Ella Gao. Thank you Kelly and Ella for your attentiveness and excellent customer service! My Mom and I appreciate you both. For Chinese Lunar New Year, EWB DB gives out red envelopes and new year calendar. Sometimes they have CD and/or other promotions with free gift... keep an eye out on those throughout the year. It is always our pleasure to bank here. The rest of the staff are friendly, pleasant, and helpful as well. Keep up the above and beyond world class service EWB DB! If you're thinking about opening a savings, checking, CD account, or anything else, don't think about it. Just go and open an account at EWB DB today! Happy Banking!
I only have the best of words to express how fortunate and grateful I am: to open a few accounts with East West Bank under this location. The manager Judy and the staffs are always smile, kind, great attitude. They provide an excellent services. All of staffs have done a very outstanding jobs. They deserve a recognition. Thanks! from Angela/Long Beach/CA
As far as Banks School initials pretty good the staff is friendly and they tend to work through the lines fairly quickly. Gets busy around lunch time. I recommend coming after 1 p.m. if you're in a hurry. it's easily accessible it's right on the corner of Diamond Bar Boulevard and Golden Springs Road. if you do have time I recommend going to the pho place right next door.
