Description

Eastern Niagara Health (ENH) System is a major community health resource for eastern Niagara County and consists of Eastern Niagara Hospital’s acute care site in the City of Lockport, outpatient service facilities in the Towns of Lockport and Newfane, and the Niagara Regional Surgery Center. ENH is the only provider of acute care hospital services in eastern Niagara County.

To provide enhanced care coordination, ENH is affiliated with Kaleida Health. Patients have access to appropriate care locally and can be seamlessly transitioned to the tertiary network at places like the Gates Vascular Institute, Buffalo General Medical Center and the Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo.

I am a Canadian  who was treated at this hospital following a car accident on Wed Jan 4 2023. I cant say enough about how we were treated by all the professionals at the hospital in the ER. They took very good care of us, they were friendly and compassionate with us. Yes, we were there 5 hours ,but others came in need of all of them first. A BIG THANK YOU to all who worked that night. I brought my 3 year old son into the ER for an ear infection the other day and It was my first time going to the hospital. I was amazed by how outdated, and nasty things were. I felt gross just sitting in the room. The clerk and two nurses that we encountered were great but the doctor we had just seemed so unsympathetic and like she didn't want to be there. She didn't take the time to make sure my son felt comfortable and didn't even explain to me what she say in his ears. I wasn't informed on how to use the medication prescribed and she didn't even come back in to say her goodbyes after we were allowed to discharge. Next time I'll drive the 35 minutes the children's.

My hubby came here for immune booster shots he is a cancer patient . They where very understanding of his pain and his needs . So very caring and compassionate . They staff went out of their way to make him comfortable . Best bedside manner I have seen or experienced. 10 out 10 best nurses and Drs . In Western N.Y

I went to Eastern Niagara hospital with extreme stomach pain and breathing issues. The staff there treated me terribly even telling me to stop throwing up because I was “scaring away patients”. They implied I was lying about having a 104 fever the night before and laughed at my cries saying I was overreacting. They discharged me after two hours with no explanation as to what was happening and a prescription for a nausea medication after I already told them I didn’t feel nauseated I was only in pain.

The care here is a joke and always has been. I’ve seen multiple cases of them missing broken bones. Even over 30 years ago they couldn’t even place an IV in me when I was a child. And their billing is obnoxious. They cashed a check from my HSA provider 7 months ago and they refuse to credit me for it even though I’ve sent them images of the check that they cashed. I wouldn’t go here if I were dying, they’d only speed up the process and charge your family double.

Nurses and doctors were excellent. The one girl, Jessie was very nice and made me feel more like I was at home and not in the ER. I feel like I was in the best hands and was very well taken care of especially by the ER nurse, surgeon, and the overnight staff when I was in recovery. I don’t like going to hospitals but my time there was actually good and I’m actually really happy with everything. Also the guy who did my cat scan was super cool as well. Seemed like he was my age and just out of school recently. Felt like I knew him for a while as he was just a decent guy that also made me feel more comfortable being at the hospital. Got my results back within about a half hour which wasn’t long at all. Very pleased with the way I was cared for and thank you to you all. Really hope that somebody reads this because I just can’t express how great fun I am to all of those people that took care of me.

I was very impressed how quickly I was brought back into the ER; nursing staff worked as a team to get me started.  Doctor came in shortly after and was wonderful as well.  I ended up being admitted and the staff was wonderful.  Thank you!

I was here for about a week right before Halloween,  I don't remember much about the ER but I do remember the ICU and everyone there were wonderful. The care I received was amazing. The nurses were very caring and sweet. When I went into a regular room the quality of care never changed.  They made me feel like I was very important. The Dr came in every day and explained things to me and answered all my questions.  I was very pleased with this hospital.

Thank you to all the kind and compassionate caregivers during my overnight admission. The quality of care was top notch, and the food was excellent as well. On June 2 I had a surgery which required a 23.5 hr admit, being that I live 2 hrs away I wasn't able to ride that far the same day as my surgery. The Nurses on the second floor were amazing, as well as the assistants. The only trouble I had was with the woman who I had to check in with in the basement before surgery. She was a bit rude, but that is not going to ruin my review. Just keeping it real. Once again thank you to everyone for taking such good care of me during my stay. The Eastern Niagara Hospital is by far the best not for profit organization I have experienced. Keep up the good work.

The doctors and nurses in the ER were fantastic to my son . After he was admitted, I can't say enough about how professional and caring the nurses and other staff were each day. Everyone was so kind. I highly recommend this hospital.  It a small community facility where you are treated like family.
